Charles Barkley is of the opinion that some of Caitlin Clark’s fellow WNBA players have been treating her in a manner that is excessively unfair for the whole of her career, and he attributes this behavior to “petty jealousy.”

During an interview with Bill Simmons this week, the Chuckster expressed his opinion on the present situation of the W. He said that despite everything that Clark has done for the organization, her colleagues are failing to live up to their potential by being grade-A haters.

“These ladies, and I’m a WNBA fan, they cannot have f***ed this Caitlin Clark thing up any worse if they tried,” the Hall of Famer said in his statement.

I am blown away by this young lady. You are probably thinking to yourself, “Damn, what is going on here?” when you consider the amount of attention and eyes that she has brought to college and the professionals, and the fact that these ladies are feeling such petty jealousy.

From harsh fouls committed during games to nasty remarks made by her opponents, it is evident that some of Clark’s opponents are not yet able to acknowledge the influence that she has had on the league. Clark has definitely not had the warmest of welcomes since she was selected first overall in the 2024 Draft.

Despite the fact that Chuck has said that he loves and respects all of the hoopers in the league, it is made quite obvious that he wants all of the foolishness to come to a crashing end. Chuck applauded the 22-year-old for maintaining her calm and not lowering herself to the level of everyone else during the whole situation.
