After suffering from a terrible eye infection, which he claims has left him with limited vision in one eye, Elton John is now on the road to recovery.
On Tuesday, the musician known for his hit song “Rocket Man” provided an update on his health on social media, admitting that he has been suffering with an eye ailment for some time now and is gradually recovering from it.
According to Elton, the process of his rehabilitation has been “an extremely slow process,” and it will be some time before the eye that was affected receives its normal level of vision.
He claims that medical professionals, nurses, and members of his family are assisting him in getting well and have been providing him with care for a number of weeks while he is recuperating at home.
This summer, Elton has not been seen out very much, and he claims that the eye infection has rendered him unable to leave the house. Despite this, he is optimistic about his progress in terms of healing and rehabilitation.
It is unknown how Elton became infected with the virus; nevertheless, the last time we heard from him was in July, when he was supposedly urinating in a bottle while he was in the midst of a supermarket in France.
