Additional details of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s pregnancy experience are being revealed!
More than a month after announcing her pregnancy with partner Ken Urker in July, the pregnant subject of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup uploaded a picture and a video on Friday, August 30, showing off her developing baby belly. The photo and video were posted on their respective social media platforms.
Blanchard, who is 33 years old, first posted a mirror selfie on Instagram. In the shot, she was wearing a cropped Nike shirt and a pair of sports shorts. In the photo, she also offered a peek of her baby tummy.
Blanchard smiled for the camera and placed her hand on her hip inside a follow-up video clip that she also uploaded to her TikTok account. In this video, Blanchard struck a few extra poses and provided her fans with another glance at her growing baby bump.
A remix of a phrase that was made famous by TikTok singer Jools Lebron was used as the music for the short film. She smiled for the camera as the words “very considerate,” “very approachable,” and “very demure” played in the background throughout the movie.
The Munchausen by proxy victim, who had previously spent eight years of a ten-year sentence for her involvement in the death of her mother, said in a video posted on YouTube on July 9 that she is having her first child with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, who is 31 years old.
During the video, which was titled “I’m Pregnant, My Journey So Far,” Blanchard addressed the “rumors” that had been “flying around for quite some time now.” She stated that she was 11 weeks pregnant at the time and that she was expecting her “very first child come January of 2025.”
“This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood,” she stated in response.
Blanchard also addressed the worries of individuals who believed that she was “not ready to be a mother.” She went on to say that she does not know “if anyone’s really ready to be a mother.”
“All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby,” she said, later adding, “I am a mother now, I am happy, and I just want to be a good mother for my child.” She became a mother for the first time three years ago. What I want to be is everything that my mother was not.
On August 10, the couple announced that they are expecting a daughter into their family. At the time, Blanchard uploaded a video on Instagram that included a photograph of her and Urker standing next to balloons. The balloons seemed to have burst apart, revealing pink confetti. In the video, Blanchard first introduced herself as “Sweetie, I’m your mom,” and then Urker went on to say, “I’m your dad.”
“You are a girl,” the soon-to-be parents were heard to say in unison at that moment.
As Blanchard and her partner anticipate the arrival of their first child, she is also getting ready to make some adjustments to her clothing in order to accommodate her expanding baby belly.
On August 15, she sent a video to her fans in which she said, “the days of me wearing cute little crop tops are just about over for right now.” The explanation that she provided at the time was that she would “get back into it next summer or next winter.”
More recently, Blanchard disclosed that she was preparing Urker supper for the very first time in a video that was uploaded to YouTube on Friday, August 30. Highlights of the film were also uploaded to TikTok. The video saw her preparing spaghetti and meatballs according to a recipe that she had taken from a physical cookbook.
