The mansion that Ava Hunt calls her “Barbie dream house” is now her home!

With a dorm room that is adorned with pink and a farewell from her mother, Tavia Hunt, the daughter of Clark Hunt, CEO of the Kansas City Chiefs, is beginning her first year of college at Southern Methodist University.

On Friday, August 23, Tavia, who has been married to Clark since 1993, posted a touching Instagram tribute to her daughter, Ava, that included images of her experience of delivering Ava to her new residence.

“I have left a piece of my heart at SMU today,” she said. The caption stated, “Ava Hunt, you have always been a combination of sunshine and hurricane; you are fierce, fearless, and capable of incredible things.”

Even as I tuck aside my emotions for later, I am bursting with enthusiasm for you. I am overflowing with excitement. The home is too quiet without your laughing, and Chief and I are already missing the familiar aroma of your Sol de Janeiro body perfume,” Tavia continued by saying in her tribute. “I’m swimming through emotions as I walk by your room, which is suddenly too clean.”

In the beginning of the article, there was a picture of the mother and daughter standing in front of the half of the room that was designated for Ava. This side of the room had a bed that was adorned with pink flowered sheets, a monogrammed pillow, a matching bedside ottoman, and a neon sign that displayed her name.

The college student, who was dressed in black athleisure, proudly stood in front of the area for a single photograph that displayed her vanity desk, which was accompanied by a pink rolling chair and lit mirror, as well as a white cabinet that included a pink coffee machine.

In a different photograph, Tavia captured a picture of her kid with her new roommate, who had a room that was decorated in a similar manner.

She resumed her correspondence with Ava by writing, “I know you’ll return often, and that this marks a new adventure and freedom for both of us …yet, I whisper earnest prayers for your safety, wisdom, and for a tribe of new sisters who love Jesus and love you.”

Ava will “learn about God’s faithfulness in the coming months,” the mother of three said as she concluded her tribute. She revealed what she finds most exciting about the teachings that Ava will learn.
