Jenna Ortega is going to talk about the negative aspects of the internet that she has experienced so far.
As part of the most recent edition of The Interview podcast with The New York Times, which was published on August 24th, the Wednesday star, who is 21 years old, discussed her thoughts on artificial intelligence and social media. There, she emphasized the detrimental effects that she has seen as a result of using such techniques in her acting career.
“I despise artificial intelligence,” Ortega said on the program. “… Did I like the experience of being 14 years old and creating a Twitter account because I was obliged to, and then viewing stuff that had been modified to make me seem like a child? No. Absolutely scary. It must be tainted.”

PEOPLE’s request for a remark was not immediately met with a response from X (which was previously known as Twitter). (Platforms such as X and others have said that they take measures to prevent the dissemination of material that is harmful.)
The actress did, however, acknowledge that artificial intelligence may also be used for “incredible things,” such as “detecting breast cancer” before it gets any farther along in its growth.

During the same podcast, the actress who played Beetlejuice Beetlejuice went on to claim that she made the decision to remove X because she received sexual photographs of herself from other individuals.
“An unsolicited photo of a man’s genitals was the first direct message that I ever opened myself when I was 12 years old,” Ortega said. “That was just the beginning of what was to come.” “One of the first actually, is the first direct message that I ever opened myself.”
As she continued, “I ended up deleting about two or three years ago because of the influx of these absurd images and photos that had come out after Wednesday,” she said. I simply erased it since it was needless and I didn’t need it. They are just so revolting, and I was already in a state of confusion when I removed it.
Ortega said that she was advised by others that she needed to retain the account in order to “build” her “image,” but the graphic photographs prompted her to make a more certain choice to remove X.
“I would make remarks about politics, or simply personal ones, or just speak about how excited I was about employment, and then I would be welcomed with this crap. Furthermore, it was utterly revolting, and it caused me to feel terrible. She expressed her discomfort by saying, “It made me feel uncomfortable.”
It’s a terrible thing… For whatever reason, I woke up one morning and had the sudden realization, “Oh, I don’t need this anymore.” I decided to let it go,” she said.
“I’m still learning,” Ortega said when she was asked on the show whether she was still “learning to protect herself.” She also agreed with the statement.
