At the moment, the young guy, Joy Ryan, who is Brad Ryan’s grandmother, and the young man are participating in a mission.

An person who is 41 years old and another individual who is 92 years old have the same objective, which is to visit all 63 national parks that are located inside the United States government.

In addition to this, they are swiftly nearing the moment when they will be successful in achieve the goal that they have set for themselves.

In October of 2015, two individuals from Duncan Falls, Ohio, made the decision to go on a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This was the beginning of the multi-generational vacation that was supposed to take place.

“I felt bad that she was always living vicariously through my stories,” Brad said during an interview on “Good Morning America.” Brad explained his feelings by saying, “I felt bad.”

When I learned that she had never seen any of the wild places on Earth, such as deserts, mountains, the ocean, or any of the other natural marvels that our planet has to offer, I felt it was my responsibility to make sure that she had some memories to add to her life narrative. I made sure that she had some experiences that she could share with others.

Before the beginning of their adventure, Joy had never seen the ocean, a mountain, or the flow of a big river. None of these things had ever occurred to her.

In the time leading up to the signing of their agreement, Brian and Joy did not have a very satisfactory relationship with one another.

It was during his sister’s wedding that Brad learned that his grandmother was “quite near to death.” This was the first time that they had seen one other in 10 years, and it was at this event that they finally saw each other again.

It had been 10 years since the two of them had last connected with one another for the sake of communication.

When 10 years have passed, it is not possible to just continue up where you left off as if nothing could have happened.

The consequence of this is that you are obliged to make a decision, and I came to the conclusion that the most efficient way to go ahead would be to just build something that is more visually beautiful,” said Brad.

Brad was taken aback when he discovered that traveling with his elderly grandmother was not quite as challenging as he had expected it would be.

At that particular moment, the two people were enjoying the time of their lives at that same moment.

“I’ve always tried to live my life in a good manner, and it didn’t damage to try something new at least once,” Granny Joy said when she was asked about her outlook on life since she was sharing her philosophy.

It was important to me that you not have any regrets about the fact that you did not complete the task the next day.

One of the sports that Granny has taken part in is white water rafting. Other activities include ziplining and flying in a tiny plane.

As soon as Brad started posting updates on his social media sites regarding their excursions, he began to get a lot of attention for himself.

Prior to the advent of COVID, Brad and Joy had visited a total of 29 different parks in the past.

Brad continued by adding, “All that was left for us to do was to hope that things would change and that those opportunities would still be available, and then to be appreciative for everything that we had been able to experience and see up to that point.”

They made the decision to go forward with their plan and went to Alaska in July of 2021 with the idea of seeing eight of the national parks that are located in the state during their trip.

During the time that they spent trekking close to glaciers and engaging directly with wild creatures, they introduced themselves to a few new people.

As soon as I saw bears catching fish for themselves, I was finally able to realize a goal that I had had for my whole life. An incredible adventure was had by everybody. “I have no doubt in my mind that you had a wonderful time,” Grandmother Joy said. “There is no doubt in my mind.”

Brad and Joy are planning to visit the National Park of American Samoa, which will get them one step closer to achieving their ultimate goal of seeing all of the national parks in the country. This is the next place on their schedule.

Despite the fact that they are anticipating that this trip, which will be their last one, would be full with both joyful and sad memories, they are looking forward to taking it.

In her views following the occurrence, Grandma Joy referred to it as a “wonderful adventure.” She pondered on the circumstances surrounding the event.

“This has been without a doubt the most wonderful and amazing journey that one could ever want to have throughout their lifetime. Furthermore, even if I were able to do so, I would never give it up for anything.
