Although she was participating in a wagon event in Tennessee, a lady from Georgia who was renowned for her “beautiful grin” and “sass” received injuries that were considered to be life-threatening. This information was revealed by the Dalton Daily Citizen a week ago.
According to the Murray County Fire Department, one of the participants, Breanna Chadwick, who is twenty years old, received injuries while taking part in the event. The occurrence took place as a result of a horse running into a gate.
The student from Reinhardt University was reportedly sent to a hospital in Chattanooga after the event that took place, as stated in a post that was published on social media by the student’s sister, Kirstin Chadwick.
The lines “Lord, Please Pray for My Sister Breanna Chadwick” were written by her and included in the letter that she sent to the recipient. Earlier today, she was involved in a horrific accident that occurred earlier. Right now, we could really benefit from as many prayers as you are able to send her way.
Currently, she is being transported by helicopter to Erlanger Hospital, where the attending doctors have advised her family to prepare themselves for the worst possible outcome.
Chadwick died away on Friday as a consequence of the injuries that she had incurred, as stated in the obituary that was written for her.
Her obituary said that she “always had a stunning smile and was full of sass.” This is according to what was mentioned in the biography.
“Whenever someone was looking for her, they would typically find her at Chick-fil-A ordering a lemonade or at Bruster’s ordering a single scoop of birthday cake ice cream. This was the case regardless of the circumstances.”
Despite the fact that she had a wide range of hobbies and activities that she was enthusiastic about, such as the color teal, her Jeep, her dog Lily, and her pet peanut, her relationships with her family and friends were her highest priority.
It is stated further in the text that she was a student at Reinhardt University at the time of the event, and that she had played in a number of sports throughout her youth, including softball, basketball, and lacrosse.
“She had a special place in her heart for the children, and they did the same for her. She was very grateful to them.” Through the course of a great number of years, she will continue to have an impact on the lives of an innumerable number of others.
In response to the question that was made by PEOPLE on Wednesday, the Murray County Fire Department did not give a direct comment.
The Murray County Saddle Club, which was the venue where the disastrous event took place, did not respond promptly to the demands for a comment that were made by individuals after they were made.
The club issued a post on Facebook announcing that it had organized a candlelight memorial for Chadwick after the calamity that occurred.
A member of the Chadwick family was the subject of the following comment, which was included in the article: “After many tears and much contemplation, we took the time to speak with them.” If they do not want for the actions to continue and march, they have the ability to make that decision.
In honor of Breanna Chadwick, there will be a vigil with lighting that will take place tonight. In addition, ribbons will be made available to anybody who would want to wear one during the parade as well as any of the other shows that will take place during the week of the celebration.
The following is an excerpt from the message: “In the days ahead, let us all bow our heads and remember this young lady together with her family.”
In order to gather monetary contributions for the purpose of endowing a scholarship in Chadwick’s name and contributing to the expenses of her burial ceremony, a GoFundMe page has been established in Chadwick’s family’s honor in order to collect donations.
