Forget the Black Pearl—Jonathan Depp and Will Smith are on a yacht off the coast of Italy, making it at least the second time the guys have gotten together abroad. The actor from “Bad Boys” and the star of “Pirates” are in Italy together for their guest appearances at an Andrea Bocelli concert series this week, and it appears that they are relaxing before the gig on the same vessel.
Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad shared pictures of Johnny and Will on Tuesday, showing them on a luxurious yacht. They also posed for a picture with German DJ Rampa.
According to PEOPLE Will and Johnny are traveling together to the Bocelli performance.
Lajatico, Italy—Boccelli’s hometown in the Tuscany region of the country—will host a star-studded lineup that includes JD and WS joining Andrea on stage on Wednesday and Friday. In honor of Andrea’s 30 years in music, the performance is being recorded and turned into a film.
Will had a few hip-hop hits in his earlier years, and Johnny plays in a band when he’s not acting, so they both have legitimate reasons for being in this mashup.
More significantly, however, it seems from their most recent reunion that their friendship is solidifying. As you may recall, they met up in Saudi Arabia for a film festival the previous year and were seen cuddling and seemed friendly there.
On the surface, it seems like a friendship—and a traveling one at that—is growing here.
