When it comes to the United States women’s basketball team’s failure to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Caitlin Clark does not harbor any resentment.

The United States of America has won the gold medal in the Olympics every four years since the 1996 Atlanta Games. Clark was on the shortlist to join the United States women’s basketball team even before she made her debut in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), according to Jennifer Rizzotti, the head of the squad’s selection committee, who told The Associated Press in April.
Clark said that authorities from USA Basketball provided her with advance notice prior to the identities of the twelve members of the squad being made public over the weekend in advance of the Games, which would begin in the capital of France the following month.

However, USA Basketball has not yet officially released the roster.
According to The Athletic, Thomas, Copper, and Ionescu are the only three athletes who will be competing in the Olympic Games for the very first time.
People had already reached out to USA Basketball for comment, but they did not immediately answer to their inquiry.
Since she was detained in Russia for a period of ten months, Griner will be performing for the first time on an international stage at the next event.
