As a result of the birth of a newborn girl that his twin brother Drew and his wife Linda welcomed into the world, Jonathan Scott is now officially an uncle to a niece.
Having a newborn baby girl to adore is now officially a reality for the Property Brothers.
During the 2024 Daytime Emmys, Deidre Behar of Entertainment Tonight received an update from Drew Scott’s twin brother, Jonathan, on Friday. This came only a few days after Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan made the announcement that they had a daughter named Piper Rae.
“They have returned to their residence. “They are taking a break,” he added of the newlyweds who had two children.
“With Parker, we got pretty good, you know, nephew vibes,” Jonathan joked, referring to Drew and Linda’s kid. “With Parker, we got pretty good vibes.”
The fiancee Zooey Deschanel made a joke about the upcoming baby, saying, “TBD, TBD.” Cute, but we’ll have to wait and see.”
It was verified by the actress that young Piper already has admirers in the form of her children, with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik, namely her daughter Elsie and her son Charlie.
According to what she shared with ET, “They love babies, so they’re excited.”
During a brief round of rapid fire questions, Zooey, who is shortlisted for the Outstanding Culinary Series award at the 2024 event for her work on What Am I Eating?, also provided fans with some insight into what her and Jonathan’s future wedding would be like. The answer that Zooey gave when she was asked if the wedding will take place sooner or later was later. To add insult to injury, she said that it will be formal rather than informal, although it is yet unknown whether it would be large or small. To which Jonathan said with a chuckle, “He ought to be.”
At this point in time, the nomination of Zooey is the reason for celebration or joy. “I wasn’t expecting it, but I’m really excited,” she said in response.
“I think it’s wonderful, a testament to the curiosity of all the people who watch,” she remarked of the possibility of triumphing, “and I am very happy to be recognized.”
