On the red carpet at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which took place in Los Angeles, Valerie Bertinelli and her boyfriend Mike Goodnough made their first appearance together.
When it comes to the red carpet, Valerie Bertinelli’s boyfriend is no longer considered a “virgin” (her phrase!). Her plus-one was Mike Goodnough, and the guy couldn’t stop blushing like a high school student soaring on cloud nine. He was unable to contain his excitement.
At the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which took place on Friday night at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California, Bertinelli and Goodnough made their first appearance on the red carpet. The Food Network star couldn’t help but shower him with so much praise that he nearly literally flushed red.
While chatting with ET’s Deidre Behar, who asked them what it was like shooting photographs for the swarm of photographers clicking away as the pair posed for shots, it is obvious to see why these two got along so well. They feed off of one other, which is why it is so simple to understand why they work so well together.
As Bertinelli remarked, “Well, he was a virgin until now,” Goodnough answered by saying, “I lost my innocence.” Bertinelli’s joke was directed at Goodnough.
In April, Goodnough announced the connection on his Hoarse Whisperings Substack. A few days later, Bertinelli moved to social media and made it public on Instagram via Instagram. Since then, they have made the most of their time together, allowing the whole world to see and genuinely respect their relationship.
According to Bertinelli, who was attempting to play it coy, “I kind of like him.” “A little bit.”
The truth of the matter is, however, that Bertinelli was unable to stop gushing over the guy who was in her life.

“Well, I think what you see is what you get,” he stated in response. “Vanessa, she is all that her devoted followers have come to expect her to be. She is a nice, kind, caring, and kind person. She has a very huge heart.
After her divorce, Bertinelli had vowed to never become involved in another relationship again, but Goodnough is different.
“It’s just really nice at this age to find someone you really get along with just all around,” according to her explanation. “So, sliding into DMs is a good thing.”
The pair is now attempting to make their long-distance romance work for them.
“I mean, ultimately it’s not any different than a married couple where one of the people travels for work,” Goodnough said to reporters. A percentage of the time, you are going to be absent from the office. In addition to increasing the value of the time you spend together, you will also be able to accumulate some frequent flyer miles.
The program Valerie’s Home Cooking, which is produced by Bertinelli and shown on the Food Network, has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Culinary Series.
