The last edition of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ under Pat Sajak’s tenure will broadcast on June 7th.
At this moment, Vanna White is bidding farewell to Pat Sajak.
White offered an emotional goodbye statement to her departing co-host Sajak in a video that was uploaded to YouTube in advance of the last edition of Wheel of Fortune, which will show on Friday, June 7.
“I can’t believe that tomorrow is our last show together,” White said at the beginning of the short video clip. “I don’t know how to put into words what these past 41 years have meant to me, but I’m going to try.”

For the last 41 seasons, beginning in 1981, Sajak has served as the host of Wheel of Fortune. Sajak and White, who appeared on the program for the first time in 1982, have collaborated on more than 8,000 episodes throughout the course of their careers.
White said, “When I first started, I was so green,” while previous footage of the couple were shown in the background. “Pat, you made me feel so at ease and gave me a confidence that I never had before. In all honesty, you are the one who came up with me.
Her next statement was as follows: “As the years have passed, we have grown up on television, but we have also shared a great deal more behind the scenes besides that.” That being said, the experiences, milestones, and life events that we enjoyed with our family outside of the studio are my favorites, despite the fact that we had a lot of fun when we were filming.
There was a picture montage of the couple’s close family that was included in the tape. The children that White has with her ex-husband, George Santo Pietro, are named Nikko Santo Pietro and Gigi Santo Pietro. White shares custody of both of these children. For the last three decades, Sajak has been happily married to his wife, Lesly Brown. There are two children that the couple has together: a boy named Patrick Michael James Sajak and a daughter named Maggie Sajak.
Our children have grown up together, and we have seen it. We have been to hundreds of different countries. Collectively, we have consumed a large number of meals. It has been a laugh. We have shed tears. She added with tears in her eyes, “We have celebrated.” What a shock! I cannot express how fantastic and memorable this adventure has been for us. I have cherished each and every moment that I have spent with you.

She came to the conclusion that, “As this period of our lives is drawing to a close, I am confident that you will continue to be close by.” My relationship with you is similar to that of a brother, and I believe you to be a genuine friend for life, whom I will always cherish. Hello, Pat! I adore you.
Following the blowing of a kiss, the video footage showed White giving Sajak one more embrace while they were both on stage.
A conversation that took place between Sajak and ET in September 2022 revealed that he was going to be leaving his position as host in the near future.
In a short amount of time. This is coming very close to the finish. It has been a very long time. Not for another forty years are we going to continue doing this. “The conclusion is drawing near,” Sajak said. The fact that I have spent so much time in the living rooms of other people is a privilege. We were greeted by residents who were out there. Our joy and pride are unmatched.
Following the departure of the long-time host of Wheel of Fortune from the game show, the television celebrity, who is 77 years old, will now begin starring in a new version of Prescription: Murder. Joe Moore is scheduled to be Sajak’s co-star in the play, which is scheduled to take place at the Hawaii Theatre in Honolulu from the 31st of July to the 10th of August, 2025.
Announcing his departure from Wheel of Fortune in June of 2023, Sajak made the announcement. Almost immediately after that, it was revealed that Ryan Seacrest would be taking over for Sajak, and White finalized her agreement to continue serving as the hostess of the program until the 2025-2026 season.
ET had an interview with Seacrest in September, during which the host of American Idol discussed the guidance that Sajak provided to him upon accepting the position.
“He is a legendary figure. My admiration for him has been unending. Because he is so skilled at his work, there is a certain amount of strain brought on by this situation. Nevertheless, he only told me, “You are going to have a wonderful time.” It is just a lot of fun. “What could possibly be more satisfying than giving away money and doing that each and every night?” As Seacrest put it. “I can’t wait to meet the contestants and do it.”
