Having suffered the loss of her son, Levi Wright, the mother of Levi Wright is now speaking out.

In a message that was published on Facebook in the early hours of Thursday, June 6, Kallie Wright, who shares Levi with rodeo star Spencer Wright, expressed her sorrow over the events that transpired on the day that he drove his toy tractor into a river in Utah. This was the first time that she has spoken since his passing.

In the event that Levi passed away on June 2, less than two weeks after the catastrophe that occurred on May 21, he was just three years old. Since the event, the youngster had been taken to the hospital, where he was now in a serious condition.

Despite the fact that she was writing the article at three in the morning because her “mind is running wild,” Kallie added, “I’d like to share something vulnerable and the difficulty of it.” “It is difficult to paint a picture of how something like this can happen unless you have been to my place,” I said.

After that, Kallie went on to explain that there is a stream that flows through the family’s land and serves as a boundary between their home and the house that their children’s grandparents live in.

“Through that creek is a road made of concrete,” she said in her writing. “It’s how we’ve gotten to their house safely most days as sometimes our dirt road is a nascar raceway.”

She continued by saying, “My children have walked this way a million times, driven their ride-on toys, and even ridden their bikes,” while accompanied with a video of her family across the stream on horseback. “Water only runs through for a short time during the year and can change over night.”

“Levi did not do anything he hasn’t done before, but this time the water was at its peak & strong enough to push his tractor off the road into the creek as he drove through,” she proceeded to explain. “He asked me to ride his tractor, and I explained that grandma wasn’t home, that he shouldn’t drive through the creek or the road, and that he should just ride around the house,” I said. While he was driving away, I dashed back inside the home. That is a choice that will continue to torment me for the remainder of my human existence.

During that particular instant, he was solely my responsibility. I honestly do not know if I went back to check on my sleeping kid, switch the laundry, wash a bottle, or put away lunch. I went back for any of these reasons. In addition, Kallie said that whatever it was, it was not more essential than following him on that particular day.

After that, Kallie said that she “will lose sleep over this for eternity,” but she also pointed out that she “knows three things to be true.”

I am not a perfect mother, but I am a good mother all the same. 2. The affection that my little kid felt for me was unconditional. 3. You should never say “never” since it only takes a few seconds for anything to happen, and it may happen to you as well. She went on to add, “I pray that anyone who criticizes me or has words that are hurtful to say will never find themselves on the receiving end of a nightmare like this.”

Within the last portion of her article, Kallie included two verses from the Bible.

In a prior statement, the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office said that officials responded to the call with information regarding the event on May 21 at around six o’clock local time. It was determined that “life-saving measures were administered on scene” prior to Levi being transferred to Beaver Valley Hospital in a severe condition.

On a subsequent occasion, Levi was sent to Primary Children’s Hospital, which is located in Salt Lake City. In a prior interview with People, a family friend named Mindy Sue Clark said that he was taken off of life support on June 2.

On the same day, Kallie made the announcement that the family would be “letting him go” via a message that was shared on social media channels. “After a number of sleepless nights, a great deal of research, multiple conversations with the very best neurologists in the world, and millions of prayers, we are here in the face of our greatest fear,” she wrote.

In her writing, Kallie said that Levi had shown us just enough to give us some time for all of this. “We believed that those things were him overcoming chances and showing to us that he wanted to remain here, but we know now that he wanted to give us time to make peace with letting him go. Our prayers were answered. Earlier, I said that my child was kind and caring, and I really feel that he did that for us.

In spite of the fact that we will miss him every single second of every single day down here, we are certain that this is the greatest thing that we can do for him! She was a mother of three children. “We love you, baby beans, and I can’t wait until the day that we can ‘work the ground’ together once more!”

Spencer Wright, who was rated 35th in the world by ProRodeo in 2023 and won the World Championship in 2014, is Kallie’s husband. Kallie is married to Spencer Wright.

On any of his social media platforms, Spencer has not yet disclosed the news of the passing of his kid.
Kallie expressed her gratitude to the medical personnel at Primary Children’s Hospital for their assistance to her kid in a message that she published on her Facebook page on May 26.

“Whether that is time to see if God provides a miracle to us or whether it is time for us to research, learn, and process all of this in order to make the most informed decisions,” she wrote. “It is up to us to decide.”
