The people who care about Cameron Boyce are paying tribute to him on the day that would have been his 25th birthday.
When the actor experienced a seizure and passed away in his sleep in July 2019, he was just 20 years old. However, on May 28, his legacy was brought to life as his former co-stars, friends, and family members recalled his brightness.

He captioned the photo with the words, “There are no words to express how much we love and miss you.” “Notwithstanding the fact that you are no longer with us, you continue to have an impact on and motivate people all around the world. I still get the impression that I am falling into a dream, and I wish I could wake up from it. Cameron, I miss you. I miss you so much.
Maya, Cameron’s younger sister, paid respect to her elder brother by posting a dark screen on her Instagram Stories with the number “25” written over it.
“Our Angel” was written over a picture of Cameron that was posted on Sofia Carson’s Instagram Stories. Carson, who featured with Cameron in the Disney Channel movie series The Descendants, uploaded the photo on her Instagram Stories.

A fundraising gala, appropriately titled Cam for a Cause, has been held by the Cameron Boyce Foundation in previous years around the late actor’s birthday. The purpose of this event is to remember him, honor his legacy, and raise money to find a cure for epilepsy and SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected loss in Epilepsy), which was the cause of his loss in 2019.
On the occasion of the gala that took place the previous year, Descendants actors Carson, Dove Cameron, and Booboo Stewart were seen attending together. According to the TikTok page of the charitable organization, the gala will take place once again this year in a little over two weeks.
In 2022, when the gala was started for the first time, Cameron’s father Victor told PEOPLE that his son “didn’t want presents” on his birthday while he was still alive. The yearly event is a tribute to the fact that Cameron did not want presents on his birthday.
