In an interview with ET, Tessa Farrell asked for anybody who may have information on the shooting loss of Johnny Wactor to come forward with their knowledge.

Tessa Farrell, who was formerly engaged to Johnny Wactor, has spoken out after the terrible shooting loss of the General Hospital actor over the weekend. Wactor was just 37 years old at the time of his loss.

The Barbee Rehab actress said in an exclusive interview with Kevin Frazier of Entertainment Tonight that she is still in a state of shock and disbelief at the loss of her former lover, whom she had first met in 2013 after arriving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Farrell claims that they remained friends up to the time of his loss on Saturday, which was caused by an unnamed gunman, despite the fact that they finally ended up breaking up following a short engagement in the late 2010s.

As she talked about the “good guy” who allegedly protected a female coworker from gunfire as he was bringing her to her vehicle after a bartending job in downtown Los Angeles, she refrained from crying. The incident occurred while he was walking her to her car. According to reports, the two individuals, who had worked together at Level 8 Nightclub, emerged from their vehicle to see armed strangers surrounding his vehicle. In order to protect his coworker, he stood in front of her for protection.

During her interview with ET, a sad Farrell took a minute to show off her engagement ring, which is a family heirloom that was passed down from her own grandparents, who had been married for fifty years. She claims that the band now has more value than it ever had before because of the tragic turn of events. Farrell revealed that when she and Wactor made the choice to be engaged, they did not have a ring. However, they came to the conclusion that they could utilize the piece of jewelry that she already held close to her heart as a symbol of their connection.

“It was a really beautiful moment, and I always — I had it on before and I always will have it on because it reminds me of, you know, true love or everlasting love,” said actor Colin Farrell. “Sadly, it has another meaning to it [now], but, you know, I’m grateful — at least I have it still and I have memories of him.”

Farrell said that even after a few days have passed, she is still having a hard time coming to grips with the fact that her former boyfriend and lifelong friend has passed away. She said that she was taken aback when she was informed of his passing over the weekend by a friend of theirs who was also a mutual acquaintance. At first, she was under the impression that he had passed while rock climbing.

The actor was a passionate climber who updated his Instagram feed with a large number of photographs documenting his escapades in the great outdoors. It was a black-and-white photograph showing him on top of a mountain with a rope thrown over his shoulders, and it was shared on his Instagram account in November. The shot was supposedly taken during a climb.

When she received a phone call informing her of what had really occurred, she was overcome with astonishment. She also had a brief period of optimism that he could still be alive, but this hope was immediately destroyed.

I am thinking to myself, ‘Where did he get shot?’ Do you know? “Where is he at this very moment? You know, I want to go visit him or provide my assistance. At first, she did not disclose to me the location where he was shot,” Farrell claimed in reference to the phone conversation. I just heard her say that he did not make it. To put it another way, there is nothing I can do, nothing anybody can say, and nothing anyone can do to alter it at that moment.

At about three in the morning on Saturday, a guy who was not named but has now been identified as Wactor was shot between Pico Boulevard and Hope Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, which relayed this information to local news agencies throughout the city. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed loss after being taken there.

Grant Wactor, Wactor’s brother, said in an interview with The Daily Mail on Monday that the actor and his co-worker were on their way out of the bartending shift when the subsequent chain of events took place.

“We’re Southern, born and raised, and we would never let a female walk to their car by herself,” stated Grant in response. Upon coming across them, he was under the impression that his vehicle was being towed. So he made a statement to the boys, something along the lines of, “Hey, are you towing?”

“Once he turned around, he saw what was happening and he put his co-worker behind him,” according to Grant, who said, “That’s when they shot him.”

“He was a very noble man and always did the right thing,” his ex-fiancée said in an interview with ET, so it should not come as a surprise to her. I am not in the least bit shocked by it due to the fact that he was the sort of person who would take charge and act in a morally responsible manner.

She said that while she has not spoken with the lady that Wactor was walking with at the time of the shooting, she has made an effort to reach out to her and provide whatever support that she can. However, she has been told that the anonymous co-worker is “a little thrown right now” and is unsure of “how to process this.”

Farrell, on the other hand, is making it her duty to see that Wactor’s legacy is protected until she is ready to speak. According to her, she expresses her wish that the world would honor him by “doing the right thing” and remembering him for his bravery and compassion.

After saying, “Just be brave and stand up, and, you know, be active members in our community and come together,” the actress went on to state that she certainly has more that she wishes she could say, but that “it’s just hard to think right now.”

Despite the fact that they may not have ended up together, Farrell said that they had a profound impact on one other’s lives and that she would take Wactor with her for the rest of her life. She admitted that they would have been better off as close friends.

“He had a great sense of humor. “He was great at comedy as well as drama,” she said in an interview with ET. “He helped shape my path as an artist.”

Not long after Wactor’s passing, his fellow actors started posting their own memorializations on social media in order to pay their respects and express their condolences.

The producers of General Hospital issued a statement to ET expressing their sorrow on the passing of the actor and said that they are sending their love and support to his family and friends.

The news of Johnny Wactor’s unexpected loss has left the whole General Hospital family in a state of profound grief. Every every day, it was a delight to collaborate with him since he was nothing short of extraordinary. We want his loved ones to know that we are thinking about them and praying for them at this trying time,” the executives of the program added.

On General Hospital, Sofia Mattsson, who portrays Sasha Corbin, the wife of the character Brando Corbin played by Will Wactor, posted a series of photographs that she had taken of the two of them together over the years. She said that her heart “is so utterly broken.”

Johnny exemplified the very finest available. This is really genuine. It is so compassionate. Unbelievably modest and dedicated to their task. with a great heart that brought so much happiness and love to the world. He made it a point to ensure that everyone in his immediate vicinity felt loved, heard, and noticed. She wrote, “I have a great deal of respect for the man that he was, and I am a better person as a result of having known him.”

“We shared so many special moments, both on and off screen, and I will forever cherish them deeply in my heart,” Mattsson wrote. “I think of them often and think of them often.” Johnny, you are going to be sorely missed in every way… I have no doubt that you are well on your way to taking care of everyone up there.
