During the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival, Kevin Costner’s children came there to show their support for their father.
The former Yellowstone actor, who is now 69 years old, posed for photographs on the red carpet on Sunday, May 19, with five of his seven children. They were there to see the premiere of his latest film, Horizon: An American Saga, which was met with a standing ovation for ten minutes.
With her son Hayes, 15, and her daughter Grace, 13, the celebrity stood between them while wearing a black suit and bowtie. The daughter Annie, who is 40 years old, posed next to the son Cayden, who is 17 years old, while the daughter Lily, who is 37 years old, stood on the other side of Hayes. As they prepared to enter the venue, the family grinned as they posed together for the one and only time they had the opportunity to do so.
According to Costner, the presence of his children at the event made it an even more memorable occasion.
“I’ll never forget this,” the celebrity said to the crowd, including his children who were sitting in the first row. In the case of my children, neither. All of them, both the ladies and the guys, look absolutely stunning when they are well dressed. They are just stunning.
Annie and Lily, as well as Joe, who is 36 years old, are the children that Costner and his ex-wife Cindy Silva had together. With his ex-wife Bridget Rooney, he is the father of a boy named Liam, who is now 26 years old. He also has children named Cayden, Hayes, and Grace with his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.
During the month of August, Costner posted a snapshot on his Instagram account that documenting his time spent with one of his kids when they were attending a day of training camp for the Dallas Cowboys. While Costner was striding across the field, his kid, who was wearing a blue T-shirt and trousers, was walking behind him. Costner was wearing a white shirt that was buttoned up to his elbows.
“Had a ball at #CowboysCamp with my son,” he said in the caption of the photo. “Thank you @dallascowboys for having us!”
The divorce petition was submitted by Baumgartner to the Dances with Wolves star on May 1, 2023, after the couple had been married for 18 years.
Following a long legal struggle that lasted for many months, the formerly married couple finally reached a divorce settlement in September.
“Kevin and Christine Costner have reached a resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings that is amicable and mutually agreed upon,” a representative for Costner said in a joint statement for the couple.
Over the course of those more than four months, Costner and Baumgartner made several court appearances to discuss a variety of issues, including the timeframe for Baumgartner’s departure from their family compound in Santa Barbara, California, as well as child support payments from the actor who played Field of Dreams.
