Jake Elliott, the kicker for the Philadelphia Eagles, said that Jason Kelce has “been in the building almost every day” since he started his retirement.

Just a few short months ago, Jason Kelce made his formal exit from the National Football League. Nevertheless, he is unable to avoid being in the company of his old colleagues from the Philadelphia Eagles basketball club.

During an appearance on the Total Access program on the NFL Network, Kelce’s former colleague, kicker Jake Elliott, said that the former Eagles center had been “in the building almost every day.” Elliott brought up the topic of discussion when he addressed the leadership voids that were left behind as a result of Kelce and Fletcher Cox’s retirements.

The statement was made by Elliott, who went on to say that Kelce and Fletcher Cox “made a huge impact.” Elliott said that it is always going to be hard to replace them.

Without taking into account the fact that Kelce is still alive, the influence that Kelce and Cox had has been felt by other individuals who have risen to the occasion and assumed leadership roles.

“I know Kelce has been in the building almost every day already,” Elliott said in response, “so they’re always going to be a part of our organization.”

After that, Mike Yam of NFL Network asked Elliott whether he had discussed the possibility of Kelce making a return with him, considering that Kelce is currently present in the building on an almost daily basis. However, Elliott said that he had no intention of answering the issue.

“That’s not my deal,” he joked uncomfortably under his breath. “You can talk to Jason about that.”

After spending his whole career with the Eagles, Kelce, who won the Super Bowl and was named to the All-Pro team six times, decided to retire from the National Football League. For the purpose of announcing his retirement, Kelce had an emotional press conference in which he said goodbye to both his team and the sport.

“Stepping on the field was the most alive and free I had ever felt,” he said at the beginning. “I love football, whether it was in my backyard with my brother, on the playground with my friends, or suiting up on Friday nights at Cleveland Heights High School.”

In addition to sharing a number of tales regarding his illustrious career, Kelce made it a point to express his gratitude to his countless instructors, coaches, teammates, and staff members by name.

He concluded by saying, “Thirteen seasons in Philadelphia and I look back on a career filled with ups and downs.”

It’s possible that Kelce won’t have the time to spend with his former colleagues in the near future. There is a possibility that he may go on to become a football commentator for ESPN. He addressed the rumors on the podcast that he hosts for New Heights.

“Nothing’s been officially inked yet or announced yet, but obviously there’s been a lot of reports out there about me going to ESPN,” Jason said during the discussion on the show. “I believe that time will kind of take care of it, but nonetheless, it is an incredible honor to even be considered for the possibility of working there. As we were growing up, Travis and I watched everything that was shown on that network.
