Immediately after the completion of his first 5K run at the Rose Bowl on Tuesday, the artist gave an interview to ET.

As a result of Jelly Roll’s successful completion of his first 5K run on Tuesday, the musician was filled with elation and excitement.

The artist from Whitsitt Chapel took part in the 2 Bears 5K, which was a part of the Netflix Is a Joke comedy festival and was presented by the team of Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer, who are the hosts of the 2 Bears 1 Cave podcast. He discussed the remarkable feat with Denny Directo of ET.

“I couldn’t walk a mile when I started trying to do this back in January,” Jelly Roll recalls. “I was terrified of the distance.” “So the fact that we got 3-point-whatever it was, got it down, I felt really, really good about it.”

It was stated by Jelly Roll that he and Kreischer “got really emotional at the finish line.” Jelly Roll added that the 5K left him feeling “really motivated” when it comes to his own personal road toward better health.

“I’m a little tired, but I’m feeling great,” he acknowledged honestly. “It was a little bit harder than I thought it was [going to be], but it’s awesome, man.”

In addition, Jelly Roll has made a significant amount of progress in his weight loss efforts as a result of his preparation for the upcoming 5K race. When asked about his weight loss, the singer said that he had shed a total of “like 50 to 70-something pounds.”

When Jelly Roll participates in the 5K, one of the most satisfying elements of the experience is the opportunity to serve as a source of motivation for other people.

“I think the coolest thing is how many people stopped to tell us that they were motivated by us, other big guys,” he said to reporters. “It was just really cool to see that.”

Additionally, he expressed his admiration for the “eclectic group of people” who participated in the 2 Bears 5K. He shared his thoughts with ET, saying, “There was a man running in a bear suit, there were people chugging beers, and there were people setting personal records as well!”

The physical and mental health of Jelly Roll has been a topic of discussion among a large number of followers in recent weeks. This is due to the fact that his wife, Bunnie XO, disclosed that he had made the decision to withdraw from social media due to the harassment he received from trolls over his weight.

Jelly Roll said, “I feel incredible,” when he was questioned about how he is doing these days, taking a step back from his previous position. I feel pampered by the presence of my family and friends.

With regard to his future in the sport of running, Jelly Roll remarked, “Next year, I will run a half marathon!” We are stating that right now, without a doubt!

Comedic performances at this year’s Netflix Is a Joke event will continue until May 12th.
