Despite the fact that Travis Kelce has arrived to the Kentucky Derby in a suit that is reminiscent of a classic movie gangster, he is not accompanied by the person he regards as his “very special someone.”
In the race that took place on Saturday, the tight end for the Chiefs lived up to his moniker in every way possible, slaying the fashion game in a way that only Killa Trav capable of doing. Just take a look at the pictures that are coming in from the KD; they show a magnificent white suit and fedora that Don Corleone would be proud to adore.
Trav showed off his ‘fit by alone, and there was no sign of Taylor Swift in sight. We can only conjecture as to the reasons why he did this, despite the fact that he has a killer appearance.
Further on Travis, however, here are some pictures that show him right down at the racecourse before the action began, and there is a video that shows him bouncing up and down like a crazy once his first bet of the day hits (at least, that is what others are reporting online).
It seemed to be a day for the guys, by the way, since one picture showed Trav cheesin’ with Jameis Winston, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. It was simply a pair of NFL brothers having a good time in the most important horse race at the world.
Now, as for Taylor Swift, there is a strong probability that she did not attend the celebrations that took place on that day since she is already on her way to Europe. This week, she will be performing for the first time in months as part of her ‘Eras’ tour.
The story was broken by us… The reason why Taylor and Travis declined an invitation to attend the Met Gala on Monday was because she needed to go to Paris in order to prepare for her performances. Therefore, it is not surprising that she would not be able to attend today’s Derby.
While it is reasonable to believe that Kelce is missing his lady love, he is also making the most of his free time this weekend by partying hard with the guys from the Chainsmokers and getting a picture with Chandler Parsons, who plays for the Houston Rockets.
It is not yet known if Travis will make a trip to Paris in order to attend Tay’s performances; but, considering the lengths he has gone to in order to see her, we would not be shocked if he did so.
