If anybody believed that rap music was at an all-time low, then Friday night just proven that it is anything but. Drake and Kendrick Lamar released vicious diss recordings within minutes of each other, and the internet is having a field day with them!
Earlier today, Drake delivered the first blow by releasing a song named “Family Matters” that lasted for seven minutes and thirty-seven seconds. In this track, he rapped over three distinct rhythms, and he targeted not only K. Dot but also The Weeknd, Rick Ross, Future, Metro Boomin’, and A$AP Rocky, amongst other artists.
When it came to accusing Kendrick of engaging in physical activity with his girlfriend, Drake did not hold back. In addition to that, he dropped hints that Kendrick’s manager had a child with the same couple.
As for Rocky, Drake criticized him for putting his fashion aspirations ahead of his music pursuits, stating that he ought to stick to modeling, and at the same time, he criticized him for throwing his relationship with Rihanna under the bus.

In the past, he had worked as a prison officer in Florida, and he assaulted Rozay for it.
It is important to note that in Kendrick’s earlier rant, he demanded that Drake refrain from using the n-word, and he expressed his belief that Drake did not adequately represent Black culture. That exact same term was used in the very first sentence of Drake’s statement, which was his way of retaliating.
Drizzy was praised for not holding back, but the celebration was short-lived since Kendrick already had a bullet in the chamber, and he fired the trigger barely twenty minutes after the 6 God. These events caused the celebration to be short-lived.
“Meet the Grahams,” a song by Kendrick Lamar, delves even farther into Drake’s private life, even going so far as to claim that his kid Adonis has a hidden brother.
The accusation was quickly refuted by Drake, who took to Instagram to demand that Kendrick demonstrate that he was the parent of the supposed child.
Even the cover art for Kendrick’s most recent song was directed at Drake. It included prescription bottles for Zolpidem, which is a sleep medication, and Ozempic, which was administered to Aubrey Graham, who is Drake’s nickname in the government industry.
Kendrick even wrote a warning to NBA players LeBron James and Steph Curry, advising them to keep their families away from Drake and accusing the five-time Grammy winner of being a “pervert.” They were both the recipients of the warning.
It was originally stated that Drake had a problem with Kendrick Lamar’s verse on the song “Like That” by Metro and Future. This caused Drake to respond with two songs: “Push-Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.”
Over the course of this week, Kendrick answered with the song “Euphoria,” and most recently, he released “6:16 in LA” on Friday morning.
As a result of the events that took place tonight, the rap war that has been the most talked about since Jay-Z and Nas in 2001 has gotten even more intense.
