A charming new photograph was used by the royal family to commemorate the birthday of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s youngest child earlier this year.
Thank you for your birthday, Prince Louis! Kate Middleton and Prince William, who are very proud of their son Louis, went to social media on Tuesday to celebrate their youngest son’s sixth birthday by posting a beautiful new photo of him.
In a picture that was taken by Louis’ mother, Kate, the adorable youngster is seen smiling for the camera while wearing a button-down shirt with a plaid pattern. At least one of his lower teeth looks to be gone from his mouth.
Under the message “Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! 🎂,” the official Instagram account belonging to the Prince and Princess of Wales accompanied the photo. “Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”
Taking photographs of members of her family is something that Kate does on a regular basis. With her three children, Louis, Prince George, who is ten years old, and Princess Charlotte, who is eight years old, she is often the photographer who captures their birthday photographs.
However, this is the first photograph that Kate has shared with the public since she announced to the public a month ago that she has been diagnosed with a kind of cancer that has not been revealed.
ET has heard that the photograph has not been manipulated in any way, and that the royal family wanted to share the snapshot of Louis as a means to express their gratitude to people who have sent birthday greetings. Kate and William consider themselves “grateful” for the support they have received during this “unprecedented time.”
In a video message that was distributed by Buckingham Palace, Kate disclosed that she had been diagnosed with cancer. This revelation came one month after the palace made the announcement that King Charles III had been diagnosed with cancer. Despite the fact that she did not disclose the kind of cancer that she is facing, the mother of three did explain that she is presently having “preventative chemotherapy” and that she is “now in the early stages of that treatment.”

During that time, Kate said that the news of the cancer diagnosis came as a “huge shock” to the royal family. For the benefit of their young children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, she claimed that she and William made an effort to handle the matter in a discreet manner.
According to a source who spoke with ET, Kate taped the video on March 20. Shortly after her surgery in January, she began undergoing therapy for her disease.
In the middle of his wife’s treatment, Prince William has only lately resumed his responsibilities as Duke of Cambridge. At the beginning of this month, he was seen in Surrey, England, attending an official occasion. While there, he collected presents on behalf of his wife.
