Isabella Strahan, the daughter of Michael Strahan, said that her next round of chemotherapy has been postponed, which is a very disheartening development in the course of her fight against a brain tumor.
In a video that she uploaded to YouTube, the young lady discussed her continuing therapy and provided her fans with an explanation as to why she had to go back to the hospital not too long ago.
It was a fever, as Isabella described it, that was the cause of her condition, which is why she needed to receive an intravenous line and have scans.
Isabella said that she had shed tears over the intravenous line, stating that she was feeling upset since it had been such a long time since she had need one.
On the other hand, this was not the only therapy that bothered her; in addition, she had a needle placed in three different places in order to drain fluid. During the whole surgery, she said that she was conscious.
An further craniotomy was performed on Isabella during her hospital stay, exactly one month after the second one she had previously had. This procedure caused her to experience a great deal of discomfort.
She continued by saying, “I’m not going to lie; I’ve been crying a lot.” I am experiencing a great deal of discomfort. It’s not quite as horrible as it was the previous time… Even though my face isn’t as bloated as it used to be, it aches to do anything at all.
Due to the discomfort, the young model said that she had a difficult time eating for many days.
Following a week of treatment, Isabella was ultimately released from the hospital; however, she was readmitted to the facility a few days later due to experiencing difficulty breathing.
When Isabella first started to feel better following the treatments, she was surprised to hear that they came with a price tag. The next round of chemotherapy, which was intended to be her second-to-last treatment, had been postponed for a month, according to her statement.
Her words were… “At that moment, I was crying my eyes out because it is just so disheartening when you are like, ‘Yes! I am able to work till May!’ This dumb head sickness causes everything to alter, and then everything changes.
During an appearance on “Good Morning America” alongside her father, Isabella disclosed for the first time that she had been diagnosed with medulloblastoma. With his ex-girlfriend Jean Muggli, Michael has custody of Isabella and Sophia, who is her twin sister.
