In addition to the legendary rap artist, Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland will be included on the album titled “Out of This World – The Missy Elliott Experience.”

Considering that the rap legend Missy Elliott has been “working it” for the greater part of three decades, it seems absurd to consider that the year 2024 may be the year that she embarks on her very first permanent headlining tour.

However, Missy Elliott said to ET that the timing of the forthcoming Out of This World – The Missy Elliott Experience couldn’t be more appropriate. She will be joined by friends and longtime colleagues like as Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and even the iconic producer Timbaland.

The tour will begin on July 4 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, and will conclude on August 22 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The North American dates for the tour will begin on all of these days. To see all of the dates, please click HERE.

“It was the time for it — I feel like God aligned everything,” Missy said in a recent interview with Nischelle Turner of ET. “It really was the right time.” When it comes to heading out on the road, Ciara has been nagging me for what seems like an eternity… I was aware, however, that I was not prepared at that time.

This year, she added, “And then I was just like… I’m ready to go,” referring to the changes that occurred in her state of mind. I told them that Ciara, Busta, and all of that would be a great way to fulfill their want to witness that. At this point, the amount of energy is going to be over the sky.

Ciara and Busta both revealed to ET that they were working on plans for their own individual tours this year; but, the fact that they received a call from Missy altered the course of events.

“If I’mma really go to this place and get back into this bag, it’s gonna have to be because I don’t really got a choice, know what I’m saying?” Busta divulged the information. “If I’mma be amongst this level of greatness… We are the ones that kind of birthed this whole freeness in the hip-hop thing — this whole courageous and colorful and outlandish, having fun and just bringing the imagination to life in a new way.”

“Missy is like one of the goddesses of this particular space,” he said in addition. “I find the most comfort going in this bag with my sis and with my other sis because this is what they’ve been doing anyway.”

Missy and Busta’s “twin” spirit dates back to the very beginning of her career. Busta contributed intro and outro songs to Missy’s very first album, which was released in 1997 and was titled Supa Dupa Fly. Missy confessed that the record left her “in awe” at the time.

She pondered, “This is somebody that I looked up to,” and she said it. I don’t even want to continue on after Busta, for real… He is the father of this, and nobody really wants to do anything about it except for him. “It is difficult to have such a long run and still have that energy, like he has that same energy that he has had in [‘Scenario’] or Leaders of the New School, in other words, the same energy.”

While Ciara and she are getting ready to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their megahit song “1, 2 Step,” which will take place later this year, she has a relationship to Ciara that is comparable.

“It’s such a special record,” Ciara remarked of the single that she released in 2004, which followed “Goodies” from her album of the same name which she released in 2004. “It’s still one of our biggest songs, which is crazy — that’s when you know you made something special.”

“Twenty years and four babies later,” Missy, also known as “Auntie Miss,” taunted Ciara about her burgeoning brood with her husband, Russell Wilson. “It’s been almost twenty years.”

However, there is no need to be concerned since Ciara has said that she has no reservations about traveling with her young family, even after the birth of their fourth child, daughter Amara, in December of last year.

She chuckled and taunted, “I’m going to send [the kids] to Auntie Miss and Uncle Bust,” as she made the statement. “We know they gonna come back a little different, but even better.”

With complete sincerity, the singer divulged the following: “I always say, I believe it’s just organic with us, you know? It’s just a natural part of who we are.

And Busta was forced to concur.

“[I’ve] waited almost 30 years to be able to rock with my sis, my twin, one of my greatest inspirations,” he expressed his appreciation for Missy. My heart is filled with gratitude that I am able to rock like way. This was something that I didn’t really believe was going to be attainable at any point whatsoever. I have to give credit to Ciara for overcoming this challenge till it became a reality, in other words, she made it happen, queen.

As for Missy, she is also really enthusiastic about the tour, which will begin on July 4 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She could not be more thrilled about it.

The renowned MC remarked, “These two, they are someone who has contributed so much to the culture, and I want them to get their flowers,” in reference to the fact that she was taking Ciara and Busta along with her on tour. “People gonna get a chance to see hit after hit after hit after hit, and they gonna be like, ‘Wow.'”

There is little doubt that the tour, which Ciara referred to as a “energy overload,” will also include some surprises, isn’t it?

Missy acknowledged that there were some surprises in store for them, describing the atmosphere as “out of this world.” However, she did not reveal any appearances or new songs she had planned. The only way to get them interested in coming is for us to pull off something. We do not want to reveal all of our secrets to them at this time.

She expressed the same sentiments on the new music, which Missy indicated may be a return to form for her devoted followers.

“They will probably not understand it the first go around, ’cause that’s how my music was the first album,” she humorously pointed out. “All I could think was, ‘Do I like this?'” It’s not clear to me; please give me a moment to listen to it once more. It is possible that this is the case; but, you should know that they will adjust, just as they had to adjust to the first album.

Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland will be performing at the opening night of Out of This World – The Missy Elliott Experience, which will take place on July 4 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
