“I am committed to unlearning my toxic behavior,” the momfluencer declared as her spouse protested, “I sincerely loved these children.” “I am committed…”
Tuesday was the day when Ruby Franke was given a sentence of up to sixty years in prison for the crime of serious child abuse.
The court was informed by the former 8 Passengers influencer, “I am humbled and willing to serve a prison sentence for as long as I need,” and he understood the situation. “I am committed to unlearning my toxic behavior.”
Additionally, she expressed sadness for “the distortion of God’s doctrine and the twisting of God’s words.” According to the criteria established by the state of Utah, Franke was given the maximum possible punishment.
Jodi Hildebrandt, her former business partner, was not only given the same term, but the court also admonished her for her behavior of frightening youngsters.
In his statement before the court, Hildebrandt said, “I sincerely loved these children.” “One of the reasons I didn’t go to trial is I didn’t want them to relive this.”
In August of last year, both ladies were taken into custody on allegations of child abuse in connection with Franke’s children.
The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole will be the one to come to a decision on the length of time that both offenders will be required to serve in prison.
Four charges of child abuse were brought against the former YouTubers, and they entered guilty pleas in December.

An emotional speech was delivered by Franke in court before to the pronouncement of the sentence.
Over the course of the last four years, I have made the decision to accept advice and direction that has resulted in my falling into a deep illusion. The YouTuber started their statement by saying, “My distorted version of reality went largely unchecked as I isolated myself from anyone who challenged me.”
“I was led to believe that this world was an evil place filled with cops who control, hospitals that injure, government agencies that brainwash, church leaders who lie and lust, husbands who refuse to protect and children who need abuse,” she said further.
I was never hired by Jodi Hildebrandt, nor was she ever my business partner. I was never even in her employ. She has never paid me a salary, and neither have any of her relationships. During the years 2019 and 2020, I paid Jodi to serve as my mentor, and she was working as a counselor for my kid at the time,” Franke said. I believe that it is essential for me to express my sorrow and remorse without assigning blame elsewhere. It is my wish that I serve a jail term, and I accept full responsibility for the decisions that I have made.
On August 30, Franke’s kid, who was locked up at Hildebrandt’s residence and was twelve years old at the time, escaped through a window and sought assistance at the residence of a neighbor.
A person phoned the police to report that the youngster had “open wounds and duct tape around the extremities” and was requesting both food and drink, as stated by the Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety Department. The resident said that the child was in need of both.
“The condition of the juvenile was so severe that they were seen by Santa Clara-Ivins EMS and transported to a local area hospital,” according to the press statement. After that, the police discovered Franke’s daughter, who was ten years old and in a similar situation, inside Hildebrandt’s home.
After thereafter, on August 30th, Franke and Hildebrandt were taken into custody simultaneously. Franke’s children were ultimately placed in protective care, and four of them were taken into custody.
