Donnell Rawlings seems to have lost his cool with fellow comedian Corey Holcomb in a comedy club this past weekend, and it seems that the whole incident was precipitated by an insult that Holcomb had directed on DR.
Corey went on after Donnell when we are informed he began screaming outrageous allegations and jabs at Donnell and Dave Chappelle’s expense. This bizarre scenario took place on Sunday night at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, when Donnell got up to do a performance while Corey went on after him.
Donnell told TMZ that he approached Corey about it because he was not going to let Corey to destroy his close buddy. Donnell and Corey have been on “Chappelle’s Show” together in the past, so Donnell is familiar with the situation.

Donnell was prepared to defend himself and his reputation, which he did from the audience level, right in front of everyone. You can also hear Corey calling into doubt Donnell’s credibility on the street. As a matter of fact, seeing the event in real time must have been rather weird.
Now, Donnell claims that another incendiary remark that Corey made contributed to the level of anger that he experienced. Specifically, Donnell asserts that Corey reportedly said that each character in the comedy industry who has three or more films under their belt has been forced to perform fellatio on someone in the industry.
In addition to feeling offended and hearing his friends being insulted, Donnell claims that the reason he got so stirred up is because he has three movies, and he argues that he has never done anything in his career that is comparable to what he did in the movies.
Corey recently performed a podcast in which he blasted DC… and claimed that he just wasn’t amusing, much alone a legend. This fight between Donnell, Corey, and Dave is something that has been going on for quite some time.
When we asked Donnell about the conclusion of this incident, he informed us that he ultimately decided to leave the situation before it became much more serious. On the other hand, he expresses his desire to discuss the matter with Corey in a more relaxed atmosphere, with the expectation that they would be able to put their disagreements to rest.
