Usher and Justin Timberlake are often compared to one another; nevertheless, Usher asserts that he has an advantage over his rival since he was victorious in a bidding battle when Justin Bieber was involved.
In an interview with People, the singer-songwriter said that he had introduced himself to Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun in the year 2008 and made an offer to get Justin Bieber into his record company. However, he stated that in order to do so, he would need to provide a larger sum of money than Justin Timberlake.
According to Usher, he also used Timberlake’s name against him, warning Justin that if he went with Usher, he would be the only Justin around. Timberlake’s name was used against him.
It would seem that the fight did not get any more acrimonious… During the conversation, Usher does not mention anything unpleasant about Timberlake, and in fact, he heaps a great deal of congratulations on the individual.
