Princess Diana was adored worldwide. She was kind, witty, a good mother, and a role model.
The Paris automobile accident that killed Diana will never be forgotten. Diana’s legacy will endure.
But what occurred in Paris that night? Her injuries? MonSef Dahman, who attempted to rescue Diana that night, has come up for the first time.
Diana’s death shocked the country, leaving William and Harry without a mother. Many people have argued the reason of the horrific car crashes. One individual involved in the incident has spoken forward.

Surgeon MonSef Dahman was working at a hospital in Paris at the time – and it was he who was charged with trying to keep Diana alive.
He recounted everything in a Daily Mail interview.
“The thought that you have lost an important person, for whom you cared personally, marks you for life,” he told the British news source.
First, Dahman wasn’t meant to work that night. His wife was pregnant when he was a young career general surgeon at France’s largest hospital. Since his wife was pregnant with their second child, they chose to remain in Paris instead of going on vacation.
So Dahman worked all summer. As a junior doctor, his shifts were lengthy. He worked from 8 am to 2 am on thiweekend.
Dahman said it was “pretty easy” that day. He had time to recover and wasn’t required to conduct tough operations.
At 2 am, things shifted drastically.
Diana’s automobile crashed in a Parisian tunnel around 12.23 am. She had cardiac arrest in the ambulance after extensive treatment by on-site specialists.
Diana arrived at the hospital at 6:02 a.m.
“I was resting in the duty room when Bruno Riou, the senior duty anesthetist, called me to go to the emergency room,” Dahman told Daily Mail. I wasn’t informed it was Lady Diana, only that a young lady had a bad accident.
He was told Princess Diana was on the stretcher as he entered the room.
“It only took that moment for all this unusual activity to become clear to me,” he said.
“For any doctor or surgeon, seeing a young woman in this condition is crucial. But especially if she’s a princess.”
An X-ray showed Diana had major inside injuries when she arrived at the hospital. She immediately received a blood transfusion.
Just 15 minutes after arriving, Diana suffered another cardiac arrest. Dahman operated, but the Princess was too badly injured.
Her heart simply would not restart.
Dahman said, “We tried electric shocks, several times and, as I had done in the emergency room, cardiac massage. Professor Riou gave adrenaline. But we could not get her heart beating again.”
Dahman and his doctors struggled to save Diana. In the end, they had little choice. He said Pitié-Salpêtrière was one of France’s top emergency facilities, and rescuing patients made him “happy and proud”.
In Diana’s case, he felt hope at the beginning. But ultimately, they couldn’t save her.
“We fought hard, we tried a lot, really awful lot,” he remarked. Actually, working in such situations makes you forget time. Nothing matters more than doing everything possible for this young woman.”
We failed to rescue her. That touched us greatly.”
Recalls it like yesterday

Every August, MonSef Dahman, a surgeon in Antibes, remembers about that horrible night at the hospital in 1997. Like millions worldwide, he watched the funeral. It was a tragedy.
“I don’t go back to it all the time because a lot of years have passed,” he told Daily Mail. “But every French book about Diana’s death has been sent to me. I have a library of such novels, unfortunately.”
Princess Diana is still loved by people all around the world, as her spirit and legacy live on. A new documentary about the late Princess is set to air soon.
The 90-minute film, according to Express, will reveal Princess Diana’s last days. In the documentary, royal specialist Richard Kay said that he was Diana’s final contact before the automobile tragedy.
That night, I talked to her. Kay remembered that the cops indicated she phoned me last.
A new Diana documentary
One year before her passing, Diana and Prince Charles finally divorced. According to some sources, Diana feared the Queen and Charles were trying to alienate her from Harry and William. In 2007, biographer Howard Hodgson wrote Charles: The Man Who Will Be King.
“She was well aware that the Queen had the constitutional right and authority under common law to take control of both boys’ care and education,” Hodgson wrote.
As such, she might become the boys’ guardian or even designate one, likely their father, which could lead to Diana’s banishment if she burnt all her bridges with the Royal Family.
Richard Kay believed Diana was in “quite a good place” after her divorce from Prince Charles. She lost everything, including her children, as she started a new chapter.
“She was desperate to try and make a fresh start and do something different, to explore a different kind of Royalty,” Kay added. She wanted to see her sons again.”
“The most mourned person ever”
The new Princess Diana documentary will honor her “remarkable life”. Executive Producer David Glover said the documentary was the “perfect time to re-examine her life and legacy”.
“There is something a bit magical about Princess Diana – and despite her personal problems she managed to use her connection with people to do huge amounts of good,” Glover remarked.
“Her 60th birthday represents the perfect opportunity to re-examine her life and legacy and discover how she went from a relatively unknown teenager to the most mourned person ever.”
Harry and William presented a new mother statue in 2017. Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden will unveil the monument on July 1.
Harry will attend his mother’s monument ceremony, but Meghan Markle won’t, according to sources. According to Harper’s Bazaar, she will care for their infant at their Montecito home.
“Meghan has just had a baby and has no plans to travel to London for the statue unveiling memorial event,” another insider told Entertainment Tonight.
On their mother, Harry and William
Harry and William discussed Diana on her 20th anniversary in 2017.
“When everyone says ‘she was funny, give us an example’. All I can hear is her laugh,” Harry explained.
“She was one of the naughtiest parents; she’d watch us play football and smuggle sweet into her socks, walking back from a game with five packages of candy. All over the shirt were sweets.”
William stated, “We felt incredibly loved by her, and I’m very grateful that the love still feels there. “It feels good to remember her and hopefully show a different side.
Harry said, “Even though she was across the room, you could feel her love as her son.”
