Sam Hanna is going to be moving to the state of Hawaii!
LL COOL J is here in Hawaii, and Vanessa Lachey couldn’t be happier to have him here! ET was there on the set of the third season of NCIS: Hawai’i when the actor, whose actual name is James Todd Smith, took Sam Hanna, the role he plays on NCIS: LA, to the state of Hawaii.
LL COOL J had just finished a 14-season tenure on NCIS: Los Angeles when the addition to the cast was announced. Lachey, who portrays Jane Tennant on the Hawaii incarnation of the show, expressed her excitement over the news.
As Lachey said to ET, “Todd is a wonderful fit.” He seems to be a member of the family since he fits in so well. That is the attractiveness of NCIS, and it is also the attractiveness of the casting. They give their characters and their agents a great deal of consideration, and there is undeniably a sense of camaraderie that exists amongst them. It is a regulation that is not written down and is not mentioned, and I believe that it is even more prevalent in Hawaii. Open arms are extended to each and every person. There is a good reason why we name it our Ohana. We are without a doubt pleased to have him!
With a chuckle, Lachey said, “He was a perfect fit for the group; he was smooth and silky, but don’t tell him that I said that.” It is not something I want to get into his brain.
On top of that, the actress said that she is overjoyed to have LL COOL J around as much as possible, and she expressed her excitement for both personal and professional reasons.
“First of all, Vanessa Lachey would keep him here because he’s constant entertainment, but I would be a terrible Special Agent in Charge if I didn’t keep Sam Hanna in Hawaii and utilize him for what he can give,” according to her.
The shift that LL COOL J has made to the island lifestyle has been described by him as “just a different world, but I’m enjoying it.” This was said in an interview with ET.
