In June of 2022, Charli and Landon were seen leaving the musician’s performance together in Los Angeles, which was the first time that romance rumors began to circulate about the two of them.
Despite dating for a year, Landon Barker and Charli D’Amelio have decided to end their relationship permanently.
Barker made the shocking revelation that he and D’Amelio had broken up via the use of his Instagram Story on Wednesday morning. Both of them have been working together.
“Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together,” Landon wrote Friday. “We broke up to focus on ourselves.”
The kid of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler went on to say that despite the fact that they are no longer together, they are still at peace with one other. “We are still friends and have so much love for each other,” according to him.
“I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions,” Landon said further. “Thank, love you all so much.”
The first time that Charli, who is 19 years old, and Landon, who is 20 years old, were seen leaving the musician’s performance in Los Angeles together in June 2022, romance rumors began to circulate. In July, they made their relationship public on social media.
The pair, who became a familiar sight on red carpets and regularly provided peeks into their life together on social media, earned the endearing moniker “Chardon” from fans of the social media platform TikTok.
The public was often informed of the significant events that occurred in their relationship, such as their first appearance on the cover of Mini V magazine, which is an offshoot of V magazine that focuses on young people, in April of 2023. The following month, Landon celebrated Charli’s birthday by posting a touching message on Instagram, in which he expressed his love and appreciation for her.
Along with the release of his dramatic new song, “Friends With Your Ex,” Barker also released the music video that accompanied the song in September. One of the things that made the video release stand out from others was the fact that it was created by his father and that D’Amelio made a prominent appearance in it.
As of this moment, Charli has not made any statements on the split, and Landon has not disclosed whether or not they will continue to share custody of their beloved dog, Moody.
