The adorable duo unveiled the track art for their new collaboration, which was inspired by the past.
With the release of their latest collaboration, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are once again bringing the enchantment of their love to their musical creations.
The lovely duo came to their respective Instagram sites on Monday to unveil some track art for their next song, “Purple Irises,” as well as to herald the release of their new duet, which is of the same name.
In the picture, which is reminiscent of the past, Stefani is seen wearing a blue denim jumpsuit and platform shoes while lying on an antique sofa. Shelton, who is also wearing denim, is seen smiling and playing the guitar while sitting next to her. It feels as if the whole atmosphere exudes a nostalgic style from the 1970s, with a happy and lively spirit.
“🪻02.09.24🪻” was the only caption that the artists included for the post.
Several recent images that Stefani has published on her social media accounts have shown a bouquet of purple irises. This announcement follows other postings.
On January 29, she tweeted the first picture, which included a few purple irises lying on top of a Polaroid photograph of Stefani and Shelton cuddling. Under the photograph, blue marker was used to write, “Never knew a love like this.”
The next day, the second post was published, and it displayed a vase that was brimming with purple flowers and was placed in a window bay. The note that was attached to the vase stated, “To: Pretty Girl, Love, Blake.”
As they continue to spend their lives together and find time for new creative endeavors, it would seem that the adorable pair is keeping their relationship going strong.
During an interview that took place in December, Cassie DiLaura of ET chatted with Stefani, and during that conversation, the singer said that she and Shelton, whom she married in 2021, are establishing new Christmas traditions together.
“We started off by always trying to find something that wasn’t a tradition — like, let’s try something different, try something new,” according to her ET interview. We came upon a delicacy that is known as the Timpano Dome. It is essentially similar to lasagna, but it is served in a dome that is created of either bread or pasta. That is something that we have been doing for a few years now, and it has become the thing.
