There is a very special bond that exists between sisters, and it is especially heartwarming to see sisters who participate in activities together. Both Victoria Petryk, who is 16 years old, and Anastasiya Petryk, who is 11 years old, are sisters from Ukraine. They both have a passion for singing, and they sang a really unique duet together. When the sisters performed at Mikhail Voronin’s Memory Dinner in Kiev in 2013, they sang a copy of the song “Without You” by Badfinger. Mariah Carey, who had previously performed her own interpretation of the song in 1994, is credited with making the song famous. Not only is the mood of two sisters singing the song really moving, but the wonderful vocals that they have wowed not only the audience in the room, but viewers all over the globe as well, owing to this video of their performance.

Both of the ladies are seen in the video having their extra-long blonde hair down to the side when they enter the stage wearing identical white A-line gowns throughout the performance. Despite the fact that they already have a gorgeous and angelic appearance, the disparity in height between them makes for an unusual start to the event.

Anastasiya, the younger sister, is standing behind Victoria, the older sister, as she starts singing first. Victoria will continue singing. As soon as she starts singing, it is immediately apparent that she has a lot of vocal ability. As the verse goes, she transitions from the lower tones when she first starts singing to the higher notes.

What is really lovely is the fact that Anastasiya, who is now waiting for her time to begin singing, can be seen discreetly mouthing along to her sister’s verse while standing behind her! In some ways, it is reminiscent of the way in which younger girls look up to their older sisters and follow them in their hobbies. It is extremely endearing to be aware of how young she is.

Soon enough, however, Anastasiya moves up next to Victoria and starts singing the next verse. It is really astonishing to hear the voice that this little girl has! When Victoria is listening to her younger sister sing, she puts her sisterly hand on Anastasiya’s shoulder, and the emotional impact of this gesture is profound.

During the chorus of the song, the two young ladies sing together and then quickly spin around to face each other. The following lines from the song take on a deeper significance as a result of this: “I can’t live, if living is without you.” Despite the fact that the song is often considered to be about lovers, in this instance it takes on the connotation of sisterly love, both in the words and in the performance, and it is genuinely wonderful to behold. As the Petryk girls conclude the song while holding hands, the crowd enthusiastically applauds, indicating that they are clearly enamored with the performance.

Without You, a song that was published in 1970 and was written by members of the British rock band Badfinger, has been referred to be a power ballad. It is well-known for eliciting a powerful emotional reaction from its listeners. Several renditions of it have been recorded, the most well-known of which are the folk-influenced version performed by Harry Nilsson in 1971 and the soulful interpretation performed by Mariah Carey in 1994.

The sisters are not complete novices when it comes to performing on stage; both of them have participated in the Junior Eurovision contest, with Anastasiya taking home the trophy in Amsterdam in the year 2012. During this time, Victoria presented her talents on the television program Ukraine’s Got Talent. The judges requested Anastasiya to join her onstage as she was performing on the program. Anastasiya and her sister sang another duet, this time of “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” and they advanced to the semi-finals of the competition.
