During the amicable photo shoot, the former co-stars gave each other a hug and grinned for the camera.
Stars Eva Longoria and Jesse Metcalfe got back together in Sin City, which was filmed twenty years after the premiere of the television show Desperate Housewives and almost twelve years after the show’s conclusion.

When Metcalfe and Longoria bumped into one other in Las Vegas on Monday, the two of them were beaming with happiness as they posed together. Metcalfe was wearing a button-down shirt in a tan color and black slacks, while Longoria was wearing a fashionable long dark jacket.

Metcalfe, who is 45 years old, posted a picture of the unexpected meeting on his Instagram account. In the picture, the former co-stars, whose characters had an affair, are seen hugging and smiling for the camera.

Nothing beats the feeling of reuniting with an old friend! Metcalfe commented, “Love you @evalongoria,” above the picture of Evalongoria wearing a smile.

Later in the day, Longoria posted a message on her own Instagram story, in which she reposted a photo by Metcalfe and added the caption, “Reunited in Vegas!”

Metcalfe, who was 25 years old at the time, portrayed the role of John Rowland, an attractive young gardener, on the popular ABC dark comedy series. Rowland had an affair with Gabrielle Solis, who played Gabrielle Solis, who was one of the show’s namesake desperate housewives.

During the first season of the program, Metcalfe was a series regular; but, as the show progressed and the stories moved forward, his character appeared in less episodes. On the other hand, Solis, played by Longoria, was a consistent presence on the program and remained with it for all eight seasons.

During an interview with ET in June of last year, Longoria expressed her fondness for her time spent on the program.

“I love that show so much, I miss my time on the show,” said the actress. I am missing Gabby. I want to be Gabby again; she was so much fun, and she said and did things that I wish I could say and do as she did.

Just now, I distinctly recall pinching myself. ‘Well, this will never go,’ I remember thinking to myself when I read the screenplay since it was so different from what I had expected,” she added. To put it another way, it was neither a comedy nor a drama. There was no one who knew who we were, and when we did the first table read, it was like having goosebumps because it was the complete group, and it was the first time that we had all met.

In addition, Longoria said that Metcalfe was not even the first actor chosen to play the role of the gardener; the intended star was described as “a younger kid.”

It was because they thought, ‘He actually looks 16!’ that they decided to recast him. In addition, they cast Jesse, who was 25 years old at the time he appeared on the program. He was 25 years old and playing 16, while I was 27 years old and played 40. The fact that Jesse and I were the same age meant that we didn’t have any awkwardness; yet, the fact that it was Jesse brought about far stronger chemistry and was also beneficial to the narrative. It was such a legendary event! “I remember Jesse and I going everywhere together, and people still come up to me and ask me things like, ‘Tell me about the gardener.'” in other words…
