It has been over a year since they first acknowledged their relationship via Valentine’s Day postings, and now they have announced that they are engaged.
The year began with a boom when Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart announced their relationship with a pair of Valentine’s Day postings. Now, as the year comes to a close, they are concluding it with another explosion that is worthy of fireworks. It was stated that the pair is going to become engaged!
In order to share the joyful news with her followers, the CODA star and Dancing With the Stars professional turned to Instagram on Friday. “Forever!!” was the only word that was required to adequately describe the ecstatic moment. The post consisted of two photographs taken near Lake Arrowhead, California. One of the photographs showed Britt with her arm around the future groom, while the other one showed her showing off the rock that was on her finger. In the second picture, they are seen kissing each other.
“Ending 2023 engaged!” Britt captioned the photo that she published on her Instagram Story, which she shared with her followers. I’m still pinching myself in the face.” She continued by saying, “Love you forever, @danieldurant.”
Daniel and Britt first became acquainted during the 31st season of Dancing With the Stars, when they both ended in fifth place. However, it wasn’t until February 2023 that the couple confirmed their relationship with a series of heartwarming Valentine’s Day messages.
“My Valentine. ♥️,” the actor, who was 34 years old at the time, said in his message. “Happy Valentine’s Day!” A photograph of Daniel and Britt taken by the water was placed next to the message that Daniel had sent.
The two took their skills on the road for the Dancing With the Stars tour after the conclusion of season 31, which was the last season of the show. Over the course of an interview with People, the couple discussed the circumstances surrounding the proposal in further detail. Daniel disclosed to the publication that he proposed to his girlfriend when they were in Lake Arrowhead with their family on Christmas Day. He did so after they had all arrived at the peak of the mountain that they were all climbing.
According to reports The mothers of Britt, as well as her stepfather and Daniel’s mother, were there.
“We were both emotional, overwhelmed with joy and at peace knowing that this would eventually be part of our story,” Britt said to the publication. “It felt like magic, but at the same time, it felt right and normal.”
