Several days after an automobile accident in Arizona that occurred when a couple from Utah was traveling to Arizona to inform their family about their pregnancy, the pair tragically passed away.
It was reported by Utah news stations KUTV and KSL-TV, which quoted authorities from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, that Chloe Stott, who was 24 years old at the time of the accident, passed away in the collision that occurred on Wednesday. She and her husband, Parker Stott, were traveling to Arizona to see their family.
On the evening of December 20, at around 8:20 p.m., the couple’s car was involved in a head-on collision with a truck on northbound U.S. 93 near Wickenburg, Arizona. The reports indicate that the accident took place.
Chloe, who was a passenger in the Toyota pickup, was reportedly killed when the vehicle collided with another vehicle. Her husband Parker was taken to the hospital, but he passed only a few days later, according to pictures that were posted on Facebook and Instagram by members of the couple’s family on Saturday. These pictures were published on accounts that were designed to keep loved ones informed about the occurrence.
Chloe was carrying a newborn boy at the time of her loss, according to authorities from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, who verified this information to KUTV. Scout Whiteley, a friend of the couple and a coworker of Chloe’s at the boutique spa that she ran in Lindon, Utah, disclosed to the publication on Saturday that the pair intended to surprise their family with the news that they were expecting a child as a Christmas present. Moreover, Whiteley disclosed to KSL-TV that Chloe Stott was around ten weeks pregnant at the time.

At the time of the news of Parker’s passing on Friday, friends of the couple had already launched a GoFundMe campaign in his honor; as of Monday morning, the website had gathered more than $200,000 from about 4,400 contributions.
“They had just found out they were pregnant with a baby and were so excited to be parents and share the news with their loved ones over the Christmas season,” says a description of the campaign. “They were so excited to be parents and it was Christmas.” “At 8:30pm Wednesday evening they were involved in a tragic car accident that took the life of Chloe and their precious baby boy.”
Parker had undergone three surgeries after the accident that occurred on Wednesday. Surgeons informed the family of the pair that his “injuries were even more extensive than what we were already aware of and the outlook was extremely bleak,” as stated in the social media postings that the family made in order to announce his passing. It was reported in the post that Parker passed away around 6:47 p.m. on Saturday.
Approximately one and a half years ago, Chloe and Parker founded a modest company in Lindon called Clover Skin Bar. They were the owners of the establishment. The company has said on its website and Instagram page that it intends to reopen on Wednesday and that it will be providing a “forever facial” service. The earnings from this service will be donated to the GoFundMe campaign.
“We know they are in a better place and get to be together,” that is what the family of the couple stated on social media when they made the announcement that Parker had passed away. “We know they will be watching over us, cheering us all on until we get to reunite with them again.”
