Following the tough divorce that he went through with his wife Christine Baumgartner a few months ago, Kevin Costner looks to have found love once again.
There are rumors that the actor from Yellowstone is dating the singer Jewel. The two were recently pictured together at a tennis event for the Inspiring Children Foundation that took place on Necker Island, which is owned by Richard Branson.
It has been reported by TMZ that the two individuals traveled to the Caribbean together and stayed there for over a week. Naturally, this comes after the controversy that was produced by Costner’s post-relationship court battle with Baumgartner, who was previously recognized.
According to reports, Costner was taken aback when his wife made the decision to initiate the divorce process in May of this year. Beginning at that same instant, the already terrible situation started to become even more dire.
When Christine filed for divorce at the beginning of May, she claimed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. Eighteen years had passed since they had tied the knot.
A statement was published by a representative of Costner, which read as follows: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.”
“We ask that during this difficult time, the privacy of him, Christine, and their children be respected,” the statement reads.
Baumgartner and Costner tied the knot in the year 2004. Cayden and Hayes are fifteen and fourteen years old, respectively, while Grace is twelve years old. Grace is the youngest of the three.
Baumgartner and Costner engaged in a violent altercation after the filing of a lawsuit by the latter. As a consequence of the prenuptial agreement, the former was compelled to vacate the family residence, and the latter was obligated to make a monthly child support payment of $63,209.
In spite of the fact that Costner’s trip has undoubtedly been a difficult one, filled with loss, uncertainty, and a significant amount of stress that he might have prevented, it seems that there is still hope.
According to TMZ, Costner and Jewel, a musician from the United States, are in a love relationship.
