People have to contend with a number of obstacles on a daily basis, which contributes to the fact that life is difficult. In addition to this, it is hard to forecast what will occur since anything might take place at any time with no prior notice.

This is precisely what occurred to a lady who had a stroke that flipped her world upside down, but it was not the only sad event that happened to her at what was arguably the lowest moment in her life. She also lost her husband during this time, which was probably the worst time in her life.

A lady called Riona Kelly was reportedly transported to the hospital in March of 2015, as stated in an article that was published in The Sun in the month of August 2017, 2017.

The physicians who treated her at the time came to the conclusion that she had been paralyzed from the waist down as a result of a spinal stroke, which may have been caused by a vehicle accident that occurred 18 months prior to the time that she was hospitalized.

Not only that, but after receiving such a terrible prognosis, medical professionals informed her that it was possible that she would never be able to walk again using her legs.

Five days after she was sent to the hospital, another heartbreaking event occurred to her. The person who was meant to be by her side at the lowest period of her life, her husband of 14 years, requested for a divorce. This was the person who was supposed to be there for her when she was at her most vulnerable. The couple raised a total of four kids together.

“After my husband abandoned me in the hospital, my friend Sarah became my next of kin, and it was her and the children who supported me while I was recovering,” Kelly said. “After my husband left me in the hospital, Sarah became my next of kin.”

Kelly was confined to a wheelchair when she was released from the hospital, so she had to make adjustments to her new life as soon as possible. Not only that, but she also confessed that there was a time when she despised the person that she was. Kelly was blessed with the ability to triumph over this challenging period in her life.

She had given up all hope to the point that she felt that it would be better for her to be dead than to continue to struggle with her health problems.

“If someone had given me the choice, I would have ended my life, I didn’t want to live anymore,” she added. “If someone had given me the choice, I would have ended my life.”

Kelly’s miraculous recovery and ability to take her first steps with the assistance of a parallel bar came about after she had undergone months of physical treatment.

Not only that, but when she was recovering, she met the new love of her life, a personal trainer and ex-rugby player named Keith Mason. Not only that, but she discovered him while she was recovering.

“After our sessions with Keith, we stayed in contact, he would ask me how I was doing, and from there, our relationship blossomed,” she added. “After our sessions, Keith and I stayed in contact.”

The two people remained in contact with one another, and eventually their friendship developed into a love connection.

At the time of the interview, she said that they had been together for the last 11 months, that the children had developed a strong like for him, and that she finally felt as if she was living the life she deserved.

Kelly also achieved a complete recovery, as shown by the fact that she was able to walk without the aid of another person and attend to the gym. In addition, owing to her newly discovered boyfriend, Mason, Kelly became “better and stronger than ever.”

Unfortunately, it looked as if the couple’s relationship did not endure since, as of the year 2023, Kelly appeared to be in a relationship with a guy called John Murdoch, and the two of them published stuff on social media together on a consistent basis.

In spite of this, Kelly looked to be in a happy mood and having fun with her children, at least according to her social media profile that existed in the year 2022.
