Dean McDermott is giving more light on his choice to go to Instagram and declare the end of his marriage to Tori Spelling, and how the spur-of-the-moment decision was a cry for assistance. McDermott claims that after sharing the message, he took multiple Ambien sleeping pills in the expectation that he would not wake up the following morning. He did this so that he would not have to face the consequences of his actions.
“After I sent the post, I took some more pills, and I took six or seven Ambien in the hopes that I would not wake up,” he said to the Daily Mail. “I was hoping that I would not wake up.” “Thank you, Lord, that I did. I am so grateful that I did. Because if I had passed, I would have messed up the lives of so many other people.”v
Liam is now 16, Stella is 15, Hattie is 12, Finn is 11, and Beau is 6 are all children that Spelling, 50, and McDermott, 57, have together. In addition, McDermott is the biological father of Jack, who is now 24 years old and is the product of a prior relationship.
McDermott said that he has just finished a stint of forty days at a rehabilitation facility and is now residing in a sober living home.
