In honor of Halloween, Paris Hilton let her inner kid run wild.
The heiress and businesswoman, who is 42 years old, provided a look at how she and her husband, Carter Reum, and their 9-month-old son, Phoenix Barron, spent the Halloween season together. Their activities included dressing up as characters from Super Mario and competing in a Mario Kart-style race at their residence.
Hilton published a number of photographs on Instagram with her family standing on their front porch in a variety of stances. She was observed walking about in what seemed to be a Princess Peach costume, which consisted of a short pink dress that imitated the famed video game royal’s outfit, as well as a crown, bright-pink pumps, and a matching choker. She also wore pink shoes.
Her husband dressed up as Mario in a red outfit, complete with black overalls over a red shirt and a pageboy cap that matched the color of the shirt. He cradled his son Phoenix, who was dressed in a Luigi costume that matched his dad’s, consisting of a green shirt, a green pageboy cap, and denim overalls. Both father and kid were wearing matching outfits.
The “Stars are Blind” singer got down on one knee to offer Phoenix a big grin as her husband also cracked a grin for the camera in one particularly endearing picture. In another picture, she can be seen sitting on the front steps of their house, which are decked up with a variety of skeletons and pumpkins, while holding baby Phoenix on her lap for the camera.
In addition, Hilton published photographs from their outdoor Mario Kart competition. Her brand-new Chihuahua, Prince Tokyo Gizmo Hilton, made a cameo appearance in a single photograph in which she is seen holding him while perched on a scooter. She wrapped off the post by included pictures of Reum, 42, and Phoenix wearing mustaches that matched each other as the family posed in a room, as well as a candid picture of the family of three having some fun on the stairs.
Hilton joked about the caption, writing, “The Mario and Luigi to my Princess Peach Did we win Halloween?” in the space provided for it.
In addition to that, she gave us a more in-depth look into their family race while perched on what seemed to be hybrids of luggage and scooters. The mother of one commented on top of her TikTok video, “POV: you’re still kids at heart,” while displaying a scene of her and Reum on their “carts,” traveling side by side in the same direction. While Reum carried the couple’s child, Hilton was holding Prince Tokyo in her arms.
The couple drove in a round pattern around a fountain in front of their house that was covered with spider webs. In a couple adorable video, her dog could be seen chasing after them, and even Phoenix got in on the action, grabbing hold of the scooter handlebars exactly as his dad does.
In the message that she posted on TikTok, Paris Hilton said, “Find someone who makes you feel like a kid again.” She also included the hashtags “Princess Peach,” “Mario and Luigi,” and “Halloween.”
The DJ had earlier posted another lovely snapshot of Phoenix dressed up in an Elmo onesie; this photo was released before the family decided to go with the Super Mario motif for their Halloween costumes.
Hilton captioned the photos with the phrase “My lil Elmo. ” and included the hashtag “#BabysFirstHalloween.”
She also uploaded some photographs of Phoenix dressed up as a pilot to match Mom’s blue suit from the “Toxic” music video that Britney Spears released in 2003. (In addition to Mom and Dad, Daddy joined in on the prank by dressing up as a member of the flight crew.)
In another one of her outfits, Hilton channeled Katy Perry by donning the mushroom outfit that the singer is so well known for wearing. Both Baby Phoenix and his dad dressed in identical outfits, each representing their own unique interpretation of a mushroom.
“Usually I’m preparing my costumes, but I’ve already bought Phoenix probably 20 different costumes,” Hilton told PEOPLE a month ago leading up to Halloween. “It’s a lot of work, but it’s fun.” “He’s been my focus.”
