This past weekend, Adele had to take a moment during her residency in Las Vegas to say “Hello” to a very special visitor.

Adele, winner of the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, paused in the middle of her performance of “When We Were Young” during her Weekends with Adele engagement at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday to meet and thank the physician who delivered her son in 2012.

A video of the interaction shows the singer, who is 35 years old, becoming upset and saying, “Oh my God, Colin,” before stepping over to the audience member and shaking his hand. “Oh, my goodness. This is the physician that attended the delivery of my child. I haven’t seen you in what seems like an eternity.”

The virtuous demonstration took place at the same time as Adele was dressed in a gothic outfit for Halloween and was giving Colin a warm embrace. As Adele began to cry up during the performance, she apologized to the audience and asked them to go on with the song.

“Are you going to sing it for me? ” That guy helped me give birth to my kid.

Adele gave birth to her first child, a boy named Angelo, in October of 2012, and she shares parental responsibilities with charity CEO Simon Konecki. In 2019, the couple divorced.

Adele revealed that she would want to have another child at another point in her presentation on Saturday, and she expressed her excitement about the prospect. Adele can be heard telling the audience in Vegas, “I’m desperate for another baby, Colin,” according to another video. “Bloody hell.”

The performer has been heard expressing her want to expand her family in the past, as shown by the fact that she said the same thing at one of her residency shows back in August. Adele responded to a member of the audience who had requested for assistance in selecting a baby name by announcing to the crowd, “I really want to be a mom again soon.”

“I’ve actually been writing lists,” she said after the last statement. “So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”

During the conversation, Adele even brought up her boyfriend, the sports agent Rich Paul, and implied in a playful manner that he could have some suggestions of his own for possible baby names. After a concertgoer asked Adele to choose between the names Parker and Spencer, she said, “I can’t say Parker because Rich likes that name.” Spencer is the name she ultimately went with.

Adele has been more open about her experiences as a mother than only in her contacts with fans. Back in 2022, the singer shared with Elle her intention to provide Angelo with a younger sister. “I have no doubt that I want further children. She said, “I am a homemaker as well as a matriarch, and having a stable life helps me with my music.”

“Right now, the only thing that’s going through my head is Las Vegas. She went on to say, “I want to f—ing nail it.”

In June of 2022, Paul, who is a parent to his own three children, gave an interview to E! News in which he discussed how being a father was “pretty tough” when he was also establishing his sports business as a young father. “But now looking as an older dad and my kids being much older, and obviously, if I was to have more kids,” added the father.

“I’m looking forward to being a different dad, a more patient dad.”
