Recently, on the occasion of Barbara Eden’s 89th birthday, a photo was posted to her Instagram account to commemorate. She has not aged at all and still maintains her stunning good looks. In this image, she seems to be much younger than she really is. Her admirers were astonished by her stunning good looks and the fact that she didn’t seem to be showing any signs of aging at all.

On her 88th birthday the year before, she shared the story of how she was cast as Jeannie, one of the most iconic roles in the history of television, instead of a group of tall brunettes.
She comments on the casting call for the year 1965, saying, “They were looking for the most beautiful brunettes in town.” “Well, I guess they were all into working out, right? Height of six feet! Coiffure foncée! Amazing physiques! Therefore, I reasoned to myself, “Well, I’m the short blonde, so that rules me out.” She was 34 years old when she landed the role of Jeannie, and she created history with this iconic and enduring piece of work.
