When a landlord discovered the condition that his renters had left his property in, he was on the verge of breaking down in tears.

The home had been leased out for a period of two years by a landlord named Daniel Needes, who was originally from Bridgend in Wales. He said that his late father had completely remodeled the home and installed brand new appliances before he passed away, and that it has been in “immaculate condition” ever since.

However, a little less than two years after moving there, the renters abruptly left without giving any notice. When the landlord went to check on the property, he was astounded to find that it had been utterly wrecked.

To quote him directly:

“As soon as I was able, I made my way down to the home, and that is when I discovered what they had done.

“If I’m going to be really honest, I was on the verge of tears when I first watched it. They have destroyed it to the fullest extent possible.”

He maintains that the family never even informed him that they were going to be relocating. He claims that he did not learn that they had moved out until he got a letter from the Department of Work and Pensions, which had been paying Daniel the rent directly, informing him that the payments would no longer be made to him since he was no longer serving as the tenants’ landlord.

The previous occupants had abandoned a large number of empty food containers, plastic carrier bags, smashed boxes, and garbage bags in the kitchen. The garbage had totally covered the floor of the kitchen.

The sink was cluttered with dirty items, a grease fryer was left on the side, and the door of a chest freezer that was only partially full of food that had been defrosted was left wide open.

Daniel said that his family had abandoned spoiled food in the kitchen, the bathroom, and in bags that were scattered about the home. Additionally, prescription medicine, such as pills and inhalers, was also found throughout the property.

“The place had a putrid odor. He said that it had been transformed into a dump by those people.

The shocking photographs reveal that the wallpaper had been ripped down, holes had been left in the walls, doors had been damaged, and the previously cream-colored carpet was covered with grime and dark stains.

The previous occupants had also abandoned several piles of undesirable goods, including clothing and toys, around the property when they moved out.

He said that the tenant’s actions had shown him a valuable lesson, and that he would be more cautious in the future when renting out the residence.

He responded, “This hasn’t put me off renting out the house; I’ll get it back into good condition first, and then I’ll look for tenants.” But from now on, I’m going to make it a point to exercise a lot more caution.
