In response to allegations that she had cheated on her partner, Taylor said that the claims were false.
Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert are no longer working together as a duo. The singer of “Gonna Love Me” announced the news on Sunday in a message posted on her Instagram account.

“AHA! AHA!” Not too much information about my close friend! Taylor published this caption next to a photo of her and Shumpert dressed up as Wayne and Garth from the movie Wayne’s World. “In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while,” the caption said.

The actress from “A Thousand and One” went on to debunk the latest rumors that she and the former NBA star’s marriage is on the verge of dissolving because one of them cheated on the other.

She continued by saying, “To be one hundred percent clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure.” When it comes to the responsibility of co-parenting our two lovely children, we continue to be the best of friends, excellent business partners, and a formidable team. The most important thing is that we are a family, and in all of our 10 years together and 7 years of marriage, we have never once joked or joked about it.

The next part of Taylor’s message informed her fans that she and the actor from The Chi had made the decision to keep the news to themselves in order to make the transition as easy as possible for their family.

She said that the reason we have been able to effectively and quietly split without all of the outside commotion is because “We just keep y’all asses out the group chat lol.” “The only reason I’m even posting THIS portion of the conversation is because the narratives are getting a bit out of hand, and it’s unfair to all parties involved. That’s the only reason I’m even publishing THIS part of the talk. I really hope that this was able to clear up any confusion for you. Okay, Auntey, I’m going to excuse myself from this conversation. Bye! 😘❤🌹.”

The revelation about Taylor comes after reports started making the rounds on the internet claiming that the former basketball star was cheating on Taylor.

Fans have also observed that Taylor and Shumpert, who were often open about their relationship, have not been seen attending any events together and have not been active on the social media platforms of the other person in many months. The musician known for the song “Bare Wit Me” sent a very personal birthday greeting to Shumpert back in June.

“Your birthday has always been and will continue to be one of my most favorite days….Because 33 years ago, on this very day, an awesomely cool human being came into the world. My very best friend, my spouse, the father of my children, and the one who completes me. It’s crazy how your birthday makes me feel like it’s my birthday since you gave me a present. One of the most thoughtful and valuable presents someone could give me. Happy birthday to the king! “,” she tweeted to the user imanshumpert.

In 2016, Taylor, age 32, and Shumpert, age 33, became husband and wife. They are the proud parents of Iman “Junie” Shumpert, who is seven years old, and Rue Rose Shumpert, who is three.

In May, Taylor gave an interview to ET in which she discussed the encouragement that Shumpert had given her over her part in the remake of White Man Can’t Jump.

“I’m not going to be married to who I’m married to and then like sign on to do a movie, [where] I gotta hear his mouth, you know what I’m saying?” she said. “I’m not going to be married to who I’m married to.” she revealed to ET.

The actress said that Shumpert paid a visit to the set of White Men Can’t Jump during production of The Chi and offered his blessing to the movie. In return, she shared her thoughts about his acting abilities.

“Yeah, he’s doing his thing, and he’s really killing it,” she added with a pleased tone of voice. “He’s been around for a few seasons now, which means that he’s gone up and down The Chi. But he came to the stage a couple times, so I was like, ‘Yo, y’all better show out. You had best pick up the pace!'”
