Abby Lee Miller is being really open and honest about the disagreement she has with Maddie Ziegler.

On the most recent edition of Sofia Franklin’s podcast, titled “Sofia with an F,” the Dance Moms actress, who is 57 years old, discussed her relationship with the 20-year-old dancer as well as her former pupil. She and Ziegler exchanged words with one another last year when Ziegler referred to her time spent on the reality program as “toxic.”

“I truly am unable to differentiate between Maddie, her sister, and her mother, and although there is some… Miller shared his thoughts with Franklin, “I don’t want to use the term ‘bad blood,’ but there are some devastating things there,” he said.

Miller went on to explain where some of the disagreement came from, including in part the song “It’s a Girl Party” by Mackenzie Ziegler, for which she alleges she did not get any financial compensation despite the fact that she produced it.

“A song called ‘It’s a Girl Party’ that reached the top spot on iTunes in three different nations. It is a product of mine. I decided to purchase the music. I sacrificed everything for the welfare of that kid. “Mack Z was an invention of mine,” Miller said.

She continued by saying, “The music video itself cost $27,000, and I got my $27,000 back immediately because the music video also went to No. 1 but I’ve never seen one penny from the music.” And I had a three hundred and ninety degree deal with Mackenzie. Where exactly is it?”

Miller said that there was “a lot of ugly darkness there,” something that she admits was difficult to “separate Maddie from.” On the other hand, she indicated that she could be willing to engage in conversation with Maddie if the latter were to initiate contact with her.

The recent statements made by Miller come roughly a year after Maddie spoke up about her “toxic” experiences while on Dance Moms and how she has felt after stopping communication with Miller, who was renowned for her roughness while working with the young dancers, in an interview with Cosmopolitan. Miller had been known for her hardness while working with the young dancers.

“When I left, she was in a state of utter distress. We were plagued with feelings of remorse for a very long time,” Ziegler recounted of Miller. “She instructed me, she assisted me, but at the same time, I knew I would be okay without her, and I was sick of being in a negative atmosphere.”

She went on by saying, “I was like, ‘This is not for me.'” I’m sorry, but I just can’t. Since then, we haven’t exchanged any words. I have a sense of calm.”

Miller provided her response at the time in a video that was uploaded on her channel on YouTube. In the video, Miller said that she was shocked to learn that Maddie felt that way. In addition to it, she provided her account of the events.

“What I don’t understand about the pressure, the ‘toxic’ situation” Miller remarked this, while at the same time giving Ziegler credit for her effort.

And despite the fact that Ziegler told Cosmo that she “really tried to leave for the last three seasons” of her six-season tenure on the Lifetime program, which ran from 2011 to 2019, Miller said in her video that “Newsflash: The kids in the original cast never had a contract.” The mothers were bound by an agreement, but the children were “kind of there on a handshake,” as the expression goes.

The conversation proceeded with Miller saying, “I assumed Ziegler wanted to be there…. I have no doubt that her mother would not have brought her if she had said, “I don’t want to go, I’m not going,” while kicking and screaming and stamping her feet. If she had done this, her mother would have either not brought her or came to me to discuss the situation. That was never something she did.

She also said in another part of the video that she wished that “someday I’m at peace with it all, too.”
