Joey King looked absolutely stunning on her special day in an Oscar de la Renta gown. The actress, who is just 24 years old, recently married director Steven Piet in Spain, and she offered Vogue a glimpse at her picture-perfect wedding as well as her one-of-a-kind wedding gown.
King selected four different gowns from Oscar de la Renta for her wedding weekend, and the bride felt that each one was “perfect” in their own way. The dress that King wore for the ceremony in La Fortaleza in Mallorca, Spain, which featured a dramatic strapless neckline and enormous fabric flower-petal paillettes, was without a doubt the most memorable outfit of the evening.
She kept her makeup and hair modest, but she embellished her manicure with scalloped design to complement the look of her gown.
The song “King” was performed by Sabrina Carpenter as the bride walked down the aisle to start the ceremony, which the bride referred to as “absolute perfection.” Erik, a friend of the couple, presided over the ceremony as guests such as Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail, AnnaSophia Robb, Phoebe Dynevor, Kaitlyn Dever, and Logan Lerman looked on.
“I will never forget the feeling of standing at the altar and looking out at all of our loved ones,” said the bride. On the set of The Act, which Piet was producing while King was playing the role of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, the two individuals first crossed paths with one another. Piet was not only an actor but also a director for two episodes of the miniseries.
When the happy couple were spotted snuggled up at a movie screening in Los Angeles in 2019, it was about this time that they began their love relationship. The couple made the happy announcement in the beginning of 2022.
