During the ongoing divorce processes, Kevin Costner and his wife of many years, Christine, who he is no longer married to, appeared in court to discuss their future plans.

On Thursday and Friday, the exes were in court in Santa Barbara for a child support hearing, which finally went in favor of Kevin as a judge ordered him to pay $63,209 per month less than the $161,592 that Christine asked.

throughout their testimony throughout the hearings, both Kevin and Christine, who had been married in 2004, showed signs of emotional distress. They also discussed what they saw to be their future actions following the split.

Christine, who was ordered by the court to relocate out of their family property, testified that she is contemplating going back to school to get a college degree. Christine now resides in a rental that costs $40,000 per month after being forced to leave their family complex.

Christine, who is 49 years old, said that when it comes to determining how she would provide for herself in the future, she will “enter the workforce” and “look into the steps I need to take as well as any schooling I may need to do.”

After taking the stand, Kevin, who is 68 years old, stated that “my world has been a little shook up” as a direct consequence of the divorce. In response to a question on how he intends to proceed in the future, the Oscar winner said, “I have a lot of responsibilities I need to take care of.” He went on to say that he was required to fulfill commitments that were already in place.

“I need to figure out how I’m going to spend more time with the children, and I need to walk them through this process,” he said. “I am going to need to make sure that I carve out some time for myself…. I have a lot of things to think about, including what I have to do as opposed to what I want to accomplish.

After completing his tenure on Yellowstone, the actor is now working on his passion project Horizon: An American Saga, which will span many films. Since he has so much money invested in Horizon, he declared in front of the judge that it is a “really big risk” for him.

Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13, are Kevin and Christine’s three children together in their adolescent years. On May 1st, she served her husband with divorce papers, citing April 11th as the date of their separation. The statement that was released at the time by Kevin’s representative read as follows: “circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.”

Kevin described his “epic” first date with Christine during his evidence on Friday. He also recalled how she informed him that having children was vital to her, despite the fact that he had his doubts about starting a family.

“She knew that my biggest worry was that I felt like I could be married and divorced again, but one thing was I couldn’t be married and divorced again with children,” he told the hearing. “She knew that my biggest worry was that I felt like I could be married and divorced again with children.” After some time had passed, he had a change of heart and said, “It was important to her and it became important to me.”

Reportedly, Kevin paid his ex-wife Cindy Silva over $80 million in their first divorce, which took place a decade before he married Christine with a prenuptial agreement in place. Annie, Lily, and Joe are his children with Silva, and he also has a son, Liam, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Rooney.

Later on in the autumn, the judge who is presiding over Kevin and Christine’s divorce will hear arguments on the legality of the prenuptial agreement that they had before they were married.
