Since the two lovebirds declared their romance on Instagram a week ago, many of their devoted followers have been overcome with emotion. However, it is difficult to tell if people on social media are sobbing tears of joy or tears of regret now that the Crocodile Hunter’s kid is no longer available to buy or rent.
On August 24th, the 19-year-old environmentalist uploaded the first photo of himself and Buckey, who is also 19 years old, to his Instagram account. The young Australian pair can be seen smiling for the camera as they pose together in front of a tree that is covered in pink blossoms in the accompanying selfie. Emoticons of a pink flower, a sunflower, and the sun were included in the description he provided for the adorable shot.
While everything was going on, Buckey also uploaded her first picture together with Irwin on her Instagram account last week. “Adventure buddy,” she captioned the image, which included a picture of the two of them standing without their khakis and gazing out over a lake.
Since then, their admirers have showered the happy pair with good wishes in the comments section, with one Instagram user writing beneath Buckey’s post: “So wholesome!!”
Another supporter said, “Aww, you two are so cute together!”

Irwin and Buckey have apparently been dating since late last year, despite the fact that they just recently made their romance public on Instagram. Both of them are natives of Australia. The two were reportedly seen sharing a kiss and a hug while on a date at a beach in Queensland on November 18th, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The next month, on Irwin’s birthday, both of them were pictured at the Australia Zoo sitting with his mother, Terri Irwin. Also in December, Buckey’s father Nathan Buckey confirmed their connection to Daily Mail Australia. He said that he “absolutely” approved of their romance but “didn’t want to go into detail” about it.
After that, on July 3, the pair made their first appearance together on the red carpet at the Sydney premiere of Mission: Impossible – D.e.a.d Reckoning Part One.
