The life of Bray Wyatt has ended. According to the announcement made by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque on X, which was then known as Twitter, the professional wrestler for WWE was born Windham Rotunda. He passed away suddenly on Thursday. His age was 36.
“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed away earlier today,” Triple H tweeted. Mike Rotunda is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Windham Rotunda was also known as Bray Wyatt. “At this time, we ask that everyone respect his family’s request for privacy and know that our thoughts are with them.”
There was no immediate information available on the cause of passing.

Dwayne Johnson, who is himself a celebrity, responded to the news on social media, saying that he is “heartbroken” by Rotunda’s passing away.
“I have, and always will have, the utmost love and respect for him and the Rotunda family. “Loved his presence, promos, in ring work, and connection with the @wwe universe,” he said on his Twitter account. Characters like these are hard to come by in the wild world of professional wrestling because they are so original, cool, and unusual.
“Still processing losing the goat, Terry Funk yesterday and now Bray today,” concluded Johnson. “It’s been a rough couple of days.” During this challenging and terrible time, I want to send my love, light, strength, and mana to both the Rotunda family and the Funk family. As usual, I’d want to say ‘thank you for the home.'”
According to ESPN, Rotunda has been missing from WWE events in recent months owing to a health condition that has not been revealed. 2009 marked the beginning of his career in WWE, and with the exception of a gap between the years 2021 and 2022, he had remained with the company continuously since then.
According to the publication, Rotunda had wrestling in his blood due to the fact that his father, uncle, and brother had competed professionally in the sport.
Rotunda was a father of four children. According to the publication, he has four children total; two of them were born to his first wife, and the other two were born to his current wife, former WWE ring announcer Joseann Offerman.
