On Monday, after hearing the news that Euphoria star Angus Cloud had passed away, a number of Hollywood actors and celebrities sent their condolences and remembrances.

After hearing the news, Cloud’s on-screen brother and co-star, Javon Walton, wrote a tribute to the late actor on Instagram. Walton penned the words “rest easy brother” alongside a picture that depicted him and Cloud sharing a warm hug.

In a statement that director Sam Levinson of Euphoria posted with Entertainment Tonight, he said, “There was no one exactly like Angus. He was far too exceptional, gifted, and young to have to go from this world so suddenly. In addition, he fought with addiction and despair, much as many of us do now. I really hope he was aware of how many people’s lives he changed. I had a crush on him. I steadfastly will. May God bless his family and rest his soul in peace.

Alexa Demie, who also stars in the show and is friends with Cloud, went to Instagram Story on Monday to post a single broken heart emoji.

Additionally, condolences were conveyed via the official Euphoria social media channels. “The news of Angus Cloud’s departure has left us in a state of deep and profound sorrow. According to the statement, he was “an incredibly talented individual and a treasured member of the HBO and Euphoria families.” During this trying time, we want his friends and family to know that we are thinking about them and sending our condolences.
