On Tristan Thompson’s Instagram, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan’s kid Tatum made his social media debut!

The elated father sent a birthday greeting to his son, who turned one on the previous day (Friday), and dedicated the heartfelt letter to his bundle of joy.

“Tatum!! Best wishes on your birthday, dear son! You provide as a constant reminder to me of the meaning that life has for me. You have shown me that with every setback comes a lesson, yet at the same time, you are my gift. You are the one that keeps all of God’s words fresh in my memory. You are the inspiration behind why I started telling my tale. The blunders we make along the road are opportunities for growth, not for condemnation. There is no time limit on how many times you may reinvent yourself. Tatum, your kind spirit makes me think of the grace of God. You are a future king, my son, and it is an honor and a privilege to be your DaDa!” he wrote to his son.

The first photo that appeared in Tristan’s post was one of him posing with Tatum as the two of them wore identical pairs of sunglasses and smiled. The following photograph shows the Los Angeles Lakers player’s infant son grinning broadly while staring at his father.

The NBA star is also the father to True, who is 5 years old and is the child he shares with his girlfriend Khloe. Prince, who is 6 years old and who he shares with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, and Theo, who is 1 years old and who he has with his current girlfriend Marlee Nichols.

After breaking up in 2022, Khloe, age 39, and Tristan, age 32, received their kid through surrogate shortly after the birth of their child.

Tatum made his much anticipated first to the world of social media on Friday, when Khloe and the rest of her family celebrated his birthday by posting previously unseen photographs of her newborn son.

“I hope you have a wonderful birthday, my dear son! You came into my life at the exact right time because I am a strong believer that God gives you what you need, and I needed you. God saw that my soul was in need of you. I required your beautiful and priceless grin at that moment. I need the heavenly essence that you possess. I was in need of a love that could only come from you. I was in desperate need of my son,” the creator of Good American stated.

“I am so very honored to be your mother. I am very pleased to say that our home is filled with love and laughter. I am very pleased to acknowledge the wonderful, compassionate, caring, and contagious attitude that you exude. You bring brightness into each and every room. There’s no disputing that whenever somebody looks at you, they can’t help but crack a grin. Especially True: She is so pleased to be able to refer to you as her own. Tatum, you have irrevocably altered True’s and my life. Thank you. We were both dependent on you.

She continued, saying, “I knew she would be a fantastic and loving older sister, but I don’t think I could have ever imagined the love and bond you guys already have.” Both of you bring to mind my uncle Bob and I in many ways. It seems appropriate given that I often assume you have your uncle’s appearance. I cannot believe you are already one — happy first birthday to my darling and beautiful baby (which, by the way, means that I think you look a lot like my dad too).

Khloe concluded the portion of her message that she had devoted to her “little Armenian man” by singing a stanza from the song “You Are My Sunshine.”

In celebration of Tatum’s first birthday, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian each posted birthday notes on their own websites to show their support.

Khloe has previously been open and honest about the challenges she had while preparing to give birth to Tatum through surrogate in July of 2022. She had claimed in the past that Tristan “encouraged” her to have an embryo transfer only days before it became public knowledge that he had fathered a kid with Maralee Nichols while he was engaged to Khloe.

After that, the couple broke up, and Khloe had a hard time keeping the fact that she was carrying another kid a secret from her new boyfriend. Khloe Kardashian said on season 3 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that she felt “less connected” to her daughter Tatum as a result of the surrogacy procedure and the turbulence that surrounded her relationship with Tristan.

“I definitely was in a state of shock from my entire experience in general,” she said of her time spent in the hospital receiving her kid after he had been born. “I felt a tremendous amount of guilt because this woman had just had my baby, and then I took the baby with me and went to another room, and you were just kind of separated.” I had the impression that it was a very transactional experience… I really wish someone would be forthright about the distinction between surrogacy and egg donation. But this in no way indicates whether it is negative or positive. Simply said, it’s not the same.”

Khloe said near the conclusion of the third season of the Hulu series that it has been “easier” for her to connect with Tatum as time has passed. Khloe is now seeing Tatum.
