Savannah Chrisley has decided that she will not take part in any planned documentary on her family or her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, who are both now doing time in jail.

After her estranged half-sister Lindsie Chrisley recently discussed the suspected documentary on her podcast, Southern Tea With Lindsie Chrisley, the reality TV star, who is 25 years old, went to Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening to put the record straight.

On her Instagram Story, Savannah said, “I was notified of some crazy stories that have been out there about this family documentary.” [ridiculous stories] have been circulating online. “To begin, I would want to set the record right and say that there will not be a documentary about a family that will be shown. Me, Chase, the kids, and my mother-in-law, Nannie Faye, are now shooting a new reality program. In order to do so, we have formed a partnership with an incredible production company, and this will be the first reality show that we have ever participated in. However, this will not take place in the case of a documentary.”

Both Savannah and her brother, Chase Chrisley, were quoted as saying that they were “very much against a documentary happening because the truth just wasn’t behind it.”

Savannah continued by asserting that any potential documentary would be “built off of falsehoods,” and then asking, “At the end of the day, if mom and dad aren’t participating, how do you get the complete truth? They need to be allowed to tell any narrative from their point of view and have it taken seriously. And I, as their power of attorney, of course am aware of the truth, and that is the case.”

Without providing any more details on the nature of the documentary in issue, Savannah continued by saying, “No crazy ex-wife or anyone else is going to be able to tell the accurate truth.” That is exactly what it is, therefore at this point we can safely assume that any documentary that takes place is a hoax. It is a fabrication.”

Teresa Terry is the woman to whom Todd was previously married. Their marriage lasted from 1990 until 1996. Lindsie and Kyle Chrisley are the children that Todd and Teresa share. She informed her followers in June that she’d “blocked everyone in an argument,” but she added that there’s “no drama” between them at the moment. Lindsie, who is 33 years old, has had a strained relationship with her half-siblings over the course of the last few years.

Savannah hinted on her Instagram Story that her family’s upcoming reality show would cover “everything that’s going do because of mom and dad,” adding that life in their family is “going OK” and that the family company, Chrisley & Co., is “thriving.”

She said, “I just came to the conclusion that I’m not going to take part in something that one, I have no idea what the heck is going on.” “What could they possibly document that would even be relevant to anyone that anyone doesn’t already know?”

She continued by saying, “Also, it’s not fair to people.” “They would be documenting about people who potentially can’t defend themselves in the event that they would need to defend themselves.”

Neither Lindsie nor Savannah provided any more information on the “documentary” that was allegedly being discussed or who was involved.

In November 2022, Todd and Julie were found guilty on counts of fraud, and they reported to jail in January of the following year. While Todd is carrying out his sentence of 12 years in jail in Pensacola, Florida, Julie is serving out her term of 7 years at the Lexington Correctional Institution in Lexington, Kentucky. Both of them have announced that they would be appealing the verdict, and they have said publicly how certain they are that their convictions will be overturned.
